"Who are you?"

Megatron was walking steadily through the halls of the Nemesis, though with how fast he's going a normal mech would have to sprint to stay by his side. He had just received a comm from Knockout that Starscream had woken up but he cut the comm off before he could let Knockout finish. His SIC was awake and he needed answers on what the frag he was doing! Megatron stormed into the med bay yelling Starscream's name like he always did. Starscream's back was turned but Megatron still saw he jumped, less high than he usually did. He turned to Megatron but once he saw him his face-plates turned confused. "I'm sorry, do I know you?" Megatron felt insulted. Was this a trick? Did Starscream think he was dumb? Before Megatron made any movements to punish Starscream Knockout stood between them but facing Starscream.

"This is Lord Megatron! The one I was telling you about." Knockout explained. Starscream's wings perked up at the information.

"O-oh, dear! I humbly apologize, Lord Megatron! I had no idea that the great mech Knockout was telling me about was you!" He apologized. "Though Knockout only described your title and what you do, not what you look like." Megatron turned his attention to Knockout who could feel the glare piercing through his head. Knockout turned to his leader and jerked his head towards a console before talking to Starscream again. Megatron trotted over to the console and waited for Knockout to arrive. He watched as Starscream nodded and sat on the med-berth and read the data-pad Knockout had given him. What was wrong with his second?

Knockout cleared his intake causing Megatron to drag his attention from Starscream. "You're probably wondering what's wrong with Starscream, right?" Megatron did a slight nod. Knockout turned on the console. "It seems the blast affected his spark and processor," Megatron looked at the screen. "Meaning he doesn't remember anything about the war and his spark believes it's still the time before the Prime selecting." so Starscream doesn't remember anything, huh? That makes it easier for Megatron to make his second more...obedient... "Whatever you're planning, my lord it won't work." Knockout interjected Megatron's thoughts, recognizing the 'planning' look. Megatron looked down at the medic and growled. "I apologize, my liege but it's true...Starscream was much braver during those times before he knew what you were capable of and how dangerous you are." Knockout explained. "And I asked him a question before I notified you so I could see how much he remembers. What I asked was how he thought about using violence to make others listen and join someone's side...he wasn't too...keen on the idea..."

Megatron thought for a moment. "Is there a way to give him back his memories?" he asked. Knockout sighed.

"Forcibly and psychology? No. We need something to trigger his memories to return, though I don't know if they will ever return."

"What's the percentage of him never remembering?" Knockout was silent.

"...Eighty percent...that's an extremely high chance Starscream won't remember anything...and since he doesn't remember anything that would mean he's a neutral..." they were silent until Knockout felt a tap on his shoulder. He turned to see Starscream there holding the data-pad.

"I know you and Lord Megatron are busy discussing something but I have finished reading this and was wondering if you have another somewhere?" Starscream asked politely. Knockout blinked a few times.

"Y-You finished that? Already?" Starscream's cheeks flushed blue a little.

"I was told I'm quite a fast reader..." Knockout shook his head to rid the shock. He smiled and pointed to a small box.

"There's plenty of data-pads in that box, should be enough to keep you busy." Starscream thanked him before getting the box. Megatron was dumbfounded. Starscream was being polite and even said 'thank you.' He really has lost his memories.

"We need his memories back. Now." Knockout sighed again.

"I wish it was that easy, my lord, but I'm afraid all we can do is wait and see if anything can trigger a reaction in the processor."

"Very well then," Megatron sighed before turning to leave. "Make sure to report any changes in his behavior, both physical and psychological."

"Of course, my Lord." Knockout promised before Megatron left.

"He's not a smiling type of bot, is he?" Knockout nearly jumped when Starscream spoke up. "Oh, sorry, did I frighten you?" Knockout turned to him and smiled.

"Yeah, but it's fine. I tend to forget people are around when I'm talking about the condition of my patients," he explained. "And to answer our first question, yeah he doesn't smile often. I mean, he does smile but it's usually more menacing really."
