as soon as dream pulls up to his bestfriends drive in he parks his car and gets the drinks from the passengers seat, patches had already finished her catshake, it's just unsweetened whipped cream but she enjoys it nonetheless, maybe a little too much as there was whipped cream all over her whiskers... as soon as dream opened the back door for her patches jumps out of the car and grooms her face, "pft you're so weird.." dream tells his cat, he closes the car door and heads for the front door with his feline companion right behind him.

knock knock knock...

"GEORGIEEE DREAMS HERE" sapnap yells for his roommate to hear; george doesn't reply, sapnap shrugs it off as he opens the door to let his best friend and his cat in.
"PATCHYYYYYYY" sapnap yells as soon as patches' face meets his calf "YOURE SO SMALL YET SO BIGGGG... BABYYYYY" sapnap gasps as he picks up the cat "and still soft as evwerrrrrrr" sapnap says while rubbing his nose to hers, patches doesn't mind this, she lets out a loud purr to let sapnap know she's okay with it; you can never overstep a cats boundaries but this cat will never do anything to say no, she absolutely adores all her human companions.
"ahem..." dream coughs to let sapnap know that he's there as well "oh.... hey dream, come on in!" sapnap carries patches into his arms as he lets his bestfriend inside his home "you can put the shakes on the table, i'll probably bring george's up to him, i don't think he's ready yet..." sapnap whispers the last part so that george doesn't over hear him.
as soon as he puts down the shakes he hears a door being opened and foot steps coming down stairs, "erm... hey." dream turns around to direct his attention to the person who had just greeted him, a short timid boy wearing a baby blue fitted sweatshirt with a collar underneath and black joggers, he fidgets with his hands as he waits for dream to reply "oh! hey! you must be george!" dream says smiling like he's never smiled before, "i am, you're dream. very nice to formally meet you mr.sapnaps bestfriend" sapnap looks at the two as they both stick their hands out to shake one another, "who the fuck am i watching shake dreams hand right now..?" he thinks to himself, he's never seen george get this comfortable with a stranger before, the only people he's ever been comfortable with is him, quackity and karl.. karl especially since they both had the same humor and karl never oversteps anyone's boundaries, ever.
as soon as they're done shaking each others hand george turns his attention to sapnap, "OH MY GOD. CAT." george beams as he makes grabby hands towards sapnap who is holding said cat; "prowwwwww" patches stands on sapnaps arms sniffing the grabby hands george is making at her, "SHE SPEAKS. GIVE HER HERE SAPNAP." george says as soon as patches nestles her head into his hand, sapnap gently gives george the cat, "whats name?" george asks dream as patches gets comfortable in his arms, "her names patches, she's never been this quick to get into someone's arms! she really likes you george." dream says with an obvious smile in his tone, "of course she does i'm simply the best." george says, sapnap and dream giggle at george's reply, realizing what he said he looks at them both and apologizes for being rude "i'm sorry, i didnt mean that", dream stops giggling and almost feels hurt that he took back what he said; "you're simply the cat whisperer. nothing else to say about it." dream finally says after sapnap stops giggling "your honor he is simply cracked at feline companionship" sapnap follows up on what dream had just said, this interaction makes george blush, he walks towards the downstairs bathroom with patches still in his arms "i-im gonna sh-show her the liter b-box" george slightly stutters his works because of his embarrassment. as soon as he gets into the bathroom he puts patches onto the kitty litter and digs her paws into it so she knows where her temporary bathroom will be, she purrs at this interaction and george lets her go and walks back into the kitchen, "oh! here you go charity." dream says with a smile on his face as he hands george the milkshake he had asked for. "you're literally best friends with sapnap and i'm somehow charity work?" george says in a sassy tone as he reaches for his milkshake, "mr.george is getting confident, now isn't he?" dream says with a smirk as he pulls back george's milkshake from his grasp, george cringes as he realizes what he had said "i'm so sorry sapnap i didnt mean that in the slightest." he puts his hand down and turns to his friend who is sitting there in shock "dude.... i'm not even mad that was the fucking best shit you have ever said out of the 8 years of knowing you...." sapnap says giggling throught the entire sentence. george relaxes and turns back to dream "i'm sorry" he whispers to dream, "for what?" dream asks george with a confused tone, "for... i don't know wasting your ti-" he's cut off by dream swiping whipped cream onto his nose "apologies aren't meant for actions that did not hurt anyone." dream says to george with a reassuring smile, something about this sentence felt warm to george, it felt... so nice hearing someone say that, george wipes off the whip cream from his nose with his sleeve and nods at dream letting him know that he understands, "here, you little chocolate covered strawberry fanatic." dream says as he gives george his milk shake, "thank you, i appreciate it." george says, he looks down whilst blushing and takes a sip from his drink.
