Ebony pov

I stood beside Cissy, waiting to get onto the train, as I turned my head I saw Draco dragging Bella by her hair toward the train.

"Bye Cissy!" Bella called out, pretending that Lucius wasn't standing a meter away, talking to Ally. Cissy gives an odd wave before turning back to Lucius. I sighed, going to get onto the train to save Bella from Draco.

"Ebony!" Bella suddenly called out from behind me, I turned, seeing my twin coming toward me, "Draco wants to talk to you!"

"Me?" I asked, Bella nodded and then went into a compartment. I sighed and went toward where Draco had gone in, "What do you want?" I questioned him,

"Can I... uh... talk to you?" Draco stuttered. I sighed and sat down opposite him.

"Make it quick," I raised an eyebrow at him and he started talking.

"Let's say, hypothetically, I like this girl. And I think she hypothetically likes me. How do I, hypothetically, ask her out... hypothetically?" he explained, I smirked at him,

"It's Ally, isn't it?" I asked,

"Yes, but please don't tell," he begged,

"I won't," I shook my head, "But, why didn't you ask Bella, we hate each other,"

"Bella would've told Ally," Draco replied, "Plus, she doesn't know what 'hypothetically' means," I nodded in agreement.

At that moment thunder could be heard outside the carriage, "Thunder," I sighed, "Really?" I didn't get up. I felt that Draco wanted me to stay, he was always terrified of thunderstorms. We stayed in silence until the train started to slow and then completely came to a stop.

"We can't be there yet," Draco commented.

"Of course not," I agreed, I got up and opened the door, poking my head out and looking up and down the corridor. Other students already had their heads poking out, looking for what had happened. The train suddenly shook and the lights on the roof started going out one by one until all was dark. Again the train shook, and then everything went cold I quickly sat back down and rubbed my forearms, "It's not just me, is it?" I asked Draco, my voice sounded worried.

"Course not," Draco sounded scared. As he spoke a large skeletal hand gripped the side of the compartment door. I let my wand slip into my hand, ready to defend myself. As the door opened it revealed a large figure, cloaked and dark. I felt sick to my stomach, I knew exactly what it was.

Dementors.

"Expecto Pa-" I couldn't get the words out. I knew the spell, I could counter the attacking dementor. I grabbed onto the closest thing for support and summoned my happiest memory, "Expecto Patronum!" A large white-blue heron came shooting out of my wand, scaring the dementor off. The lights began to flick back on and I realised what I was holding onto: Draco.

We immediately split apart when we realised we had been hugging each other out of fear,

"We're not going to tell anyone, are we?" Draco questioned, not meeting my eye,

"No, no," I shook my head, "Never!" I was saying it more to myself than to him.

Bella pov

I watched as Ebony left with Draco, "Can I join you," Ally asked.

"Will Pansy join as well?" I asked not wanting to put up with her,

"No," Ally responded. I nodded my head, grabbing Ally's hand. I found George and Fred poking their heads out of a compartment. I laughed before walking into the compartment where I had seen the twins.
