(In the same plotline as The Visit, takes place after)

Deidara ran into Tobi's room, angry at the oblivious man-child. However, he was stopped in his tracks as he saw him. It was Tobi, he knew from the cloak. But, his mask was gone, revealing his scarred face, serene and calm as he dreamed. Deidara felt his heart flutter, but pushed back his emotions. This was Tobi, he couldn't possibly like him. Deidara awoke him, however Tobi was not prepared, and greeted Deidara " Good Morning Deidara!" However he had said this in his natural , deep voice. Deidara turned bright red in the face, resembling a tomato. Tobi realized what had happened then went to cover his mouth in shock. Except he came into contact with his mouth, not his mask. He looked at the blonde bomber and sighed "I'll explain this later, lets go have breakfast." Deidara nodded, and the pair left the room silently, but not before Tobi slipped on his mask.

"So, your telling me that you wear a mask, to hide your identity when interacting with others?" Deidara inquired. "Why hide your identity, un?"  Tobi bit his lip and mumbled "Because I'm supposed to be dead.." Deidara gasped then looked at Tobi "Is that why you have that scar?" Tobi simply nodded. Deidara smiled "I think your scar looks cool, un!" Tobi was shocked, he hadn't expected Deidara to say that. He hugged the blonde bomber and smiled "Thanks!" Deidara waited till he let go, then asked " So what is your real name?"  Tobi was surprised but answered calmly "Obito Uchiha." Deidara gasped "Uchiha, as in Itachi Uchiha?." Obito simply nodded and sat down on Deidara's bed. He then turned to Deidara and asked "How long is your hair?" The off-topic and sudden question confused the blonde, but he let down his hair, it coming down to just above his waist.

Deidara sat on the bed, calmly brushing his hair, while Obito watched, entranced by the blonde. The Uchiha then asked "Could I try styling your hair?" Deidara handed Obito the brush and relaxed. Obito first tried something similar to Itachi's long hair, but it looked odd, so he tried Konan's style, but it needed tweaking. He ended up doing Deidara's hair in a man bun, with his bangs hanging out. Deidara smiled as he looked in the mirror at his hair. He quickly ran into his closet, and came out wearing a white T-shirt, a cream colored blazer, a black belt tied around his waist, blue jeans and black platforms. Obito's heart fluttered at the blonde. Deidara smiled and grabbed Obito's hand, pushing his mask over his face, and pulling him out the room. They ran off to the opposite end of Ame, where they stopped a small, sweet smelling shop. There, Deidara ordered two sticks of dango.

Deidara tugged Obito by the hand, the Uchiha attempting to inhale his dango. He ended up almost choking on it, but Deidara saved him with a slap on the back. Deidara then pulled him off to a small playground, where the two sat on the swings and talked. Obito eventually got off his swing and began to push the blonde. Deidara laughed, a close eyed smile spreading across his face. Obito felt himself choke on his saliva, the bomber looked absolutely amazing. Obito felt himself chuckle, the laugh of the blonde becoming contagious. Obito then grabbed Deidara's hand, the afternoon sun blazing down. He then used Kamui to transport the two to his dimension, then from there, to the Uchiha memorial, where he spotted Kakashi, and quickly pulled the blonde back, out of sight. He heard Kakashi say only a few words. "I miss you, Obito. Thank you." Obito smiled, happy that Kakashi still cared about him. Kakashi then walked off, revealing his Icha Icha book in his hand. Obito laughed, my, he had certainly changed.

The two sat near the memorial, as the sun set. It was so serene and calm. Obito looked down to see Deidara seemed to be sleeping, so he took him up to the Hokage's Rock Faces, where they sat on Minato's rock face. And as the last glimmer of light disappeared , Obito softly kissed the sleeping blonde's forehead. But Deidara wasn't asleep, and he had felt the kiss.
