Techno POV 

"Phil... you do know what I'm gonna do right?" I asked. "Your actually gonna go and break Dream  out?" Phil asked seeming a bit surprised. "Yes I will... Are you by any chance against me going to break out Dream?" I asked with a bit of disappointed in my voice. "Nah Mate, I'm not. I was just not expecting you to act this way for your friends" Phil said calmly.

"Well he is my childhood friend and has never betrayed me once, Also Dream himself has helped me during my execution with Carl, potions, and armor. And now thanks too him Carl is safe and I didn't try get killed by Quackity." I said truthfully 'I do have to repay the favor for Dream but first I need a plan in order too break him out'
I thought. Phil soon broke me out of my thoughts by humming in approval. "Okay Mate... You might wanna add me in then because just sitting around here can get tiring and I need something else to do than collect recourses all day" Phil says, 'Its nice that I have the support of my father' I thought. "Yeah..."

[10 mins before Quackity's visit]
Techno POV
Me and Phil where gonna Sneak around behind the prison to kill the Elder Guardian so breaking Dream out would be quicker but then we saw someone who I didn't expect... Quackity.

We both Saw Quackity enter the Prison Axe in hand. "WHAT THE HELL IS HE GOING TO DO WITH AN AXE IN THE PRISON" I whisper yelled to Phil. "I don't know mate... Let's hurry up with the Elder Guardian so we can go Break Dream out as quick as we can." Phil said trying to keep me focus.

After 10 mins of constant mining we where able to reach the Elder Guardian and kill it. After drinking milk we headed to where Dream's Cell is. 'I hope I'm not too late.' I thought not wanting to think about Dreams death.

Dream POV

"What Dream!" Nightmare yelled which caused me to flinch. I can see his eyes are a dark garnet color, I can tell he's lost it. "I-I want you t-to help me be f-free fr-from this pain" I could barely talk without stuttering. Nighttmare gave me an evil smirk, "So you've finally decided have you?  Well then..."

"just tell me when..."

"W-wait..." I said Nightmare hummed in confusion.

"Just take me somewhere that m-makes me happy... So  I-I can d-die pe-peacefully pl-please..."

"As you wish Dreamy" Nightmare said. Just before we left I saw a hole in the ceiling of the cell be made..."

And then I saw Technoblade...

Techno POV
We had killed the Elder Guardian and that was when we saw a message that I was not expecting to pop up
Quackity: GUYS COME HERE QUICK TO THE PRISON. NOW. HELP ME!!

Me and Phil looked at each other and thought Dream had snapped and attacked Quackity. So we hurried towards the cell to try and beat the others to Dream. We then found Dreams cell because we found the dispensers that held the Lava covering dreams Cell. Destroying a couple of them gave us a dropway towards the top of Dreams Cell. We got on top of the cell careful not to walk on lava. We are sure we made it before everybody cuz we haven't heard any talking on top if the Cell. Me and Phil Mined a hole a top  and we were not expecting what  we saw next.

A tall red figure standing over a bloody Dream. Me and Phil's eyes widened as we saw both their bodies glow and... Poof. Gone. Just like that. I was gonna tell but I thought against it not wanting to expose me and Phil possibly getting caught or worse killed.

Lucid POV
I had Quackity on the other side of the cell were Nightmare couldn't kill him. Not that I care about Quackity it's better if he's alive so Dream isn't framed for Quackity's death. I just glared at Quackity. "WHA-"
Quackity was gonna tell but was cut off my me. "Shut Up! Your on Thin Ice Quackity Don't Say a word or I'll punch you right in you fucking eye!" I yelled firmly at Quackity and that Shut him up. 'What the hell is Nightmare doing over there? By now he should have been yelling at me to bring him back?' I was knocked out of my thoughts when I heard foot steps of multiple people guessing Quackity had messaged people to help him. I sighed. Next I was Faced By about 10 people. I clearly remember some from Nightmare controlling Dream and some I do remember but not a lot.

3rd Person POV

Dream and Nightmare went to a snow biome that Dream used to play at when he was a kid. Dream was now resting against a tree. "N-Night can y-you just d-d-do it?" I asked Nightmare not wanting to live anymore. Nightmare smirked, "Sure, I'll gladly do it" and with what Nightmare summoned an Axe that seemed to be made of Ice. "Have a goodnight Dreamy." Nightmare then swinged his Axe Right at Dreams chest. Now Dream was bleeding out. Being killed By one of the few things he likes, ice.
To Dream he liked ice because of it beauty, you can see how amazing it looked when winter came, the icicles, the way it makes things so shiney and more beautiful in the sunlight, ice was like him in someway. You can see straight through it. Just like Dream without his mask, you can see straight through him. You can see the guilt, fear, and sadness on hiss face alone.

Dream POV

"I'm sorry guys..."

"I'm sorry for being such a shit person."
"I'm sorry for being the source of your problems, even though I have not done the shit things Nightmare has done, I still was the main cause for those events."

"And I'm sorry for that..."

3rd Person POV

Nightmare Watched as Dreams body began to shutdown with the Axe lodged into Dreams staying there. To Nightmares this sight was beautiful, he had Set Dream Free, Even if it costed him his life.
