Forgiveness

DreamXD POV

Quackity was hesitant to take accept but was also distraught from what I said before to Fundy. "WHY WHY WHY? WHY AREN'T YOU KILLING US? WHY AREN'T YOU KILLING ME?" Quackity asked. "I see a better future for you and your friends, but first you must see and acknowledge the mistakes that you have done from Dreams point of view. You have to see the fear, pain, and horror you put upon Dream. Even thought Dream said he had reason to what happened, he didn't because he wasn't in control and he didn't want any of this to happen to you, even after he was put in prison he wasn't mad at any of you... he just wanted the best for all of you. Even if that meant for him to be stuck in prison for the rest of his life, but after you started torturing him. He didn't wanna live anymore thinking that will fix all of your problems, also his problems." I told Quackity and he was on the brink or tears after hearing what I said.

I started bringing him into a hug. "It's okay Quackity, you can't change the past but you can try to fix your mistakes and prevent them from happening again... It's time for you to rest it's starting to get late." I put him to sleep using my powers and laid him down in a nearby house.

George was the first one to leave the memory, he immediately started to breakdown into tears, Sapnap, Ranboo, and Fundy soon came out of the memory as well they all started crying because of what Dream and I had gone through along with what they had also done to Dream. "George, Sapnap" I called their names to tell them something, they looked at me with sadness. "If you really wanna be forgiven... I can take you to talk to Ghost Dre, but he is in a bad state right now because of Quackity's torture" I told them. "W-what where i-is Q-Quac-ckity." Ranboo asked looking for him. "He is in that house sleeping. I talked with him and he soon was filled with guilt and forgiveness. He will wanna change." I told Ranboo and he hummed in response. After a while they soon got tired from crying a lot and I carried all of them to a bed and placed them to sleep. 'I need to tell Tommy and the rest know about this' I thought. I looked back at Nightmare laying peacefully on the floor. "He will be okay Nightmare. No need to kill" I told the sleeping Dreamon

Lucid POV
Me and Ghost Dre had finally left New'manberg and I went to a forest pretty far away to heal Ghost Dre the best that I could. I found an area that has flowers everywhere and it looked beautiful. I placed Ghost Dre on top of a bed of flowers and I started healing him. His cuts and wounds would take much more energy to heal than I thought. I started using as much as I could healing Ghost Dre. His cuts slowly started to heal bit by bit. I heard noises behind me I thought it was Quackity and the others but I ignored it because if I didn't finish healing and give Ghost Dre consciousness then we both could have a chance of getting caught. I would much rather get caught then having Ghost Dre get caught and sent back. I gave every single energy to Ghost Dre and all the cuts and marks had been healed. "I-I... Did... It..." I said breathing slowly before falling down onto the bed of flowers beside Ghost Dre. I was losing consciousness, last thing that I saw was Ghost Dre's eyes open and look at me. I smiled while everything turned black and I was now unconscious.

Techno POV

We where no getting closer and closer to where Ghost Dre was thanks to the river that was going towards we needed to go. Using our tridents we started going much faster than before. "Thank God there is a river going towards New'Manberg" Tommy said as we flew through the air. "We just gotta get there Quickly and get him out of there" Phil said after Tommy. 
Tommy was looking at the compass and he stopped. "Tommy what's going on?" I asked but Tommy was still looking at his compass, I looked at the compass and it was pointing to the right. "Ghost Dre is moving? Well thank goodness that there is an ocean to where the compass is pointing" Phil said

"What are we waiting for Let's get going then" I said as we went towards the ocean. 'This will all be worth it when we get Ghost Dre out of that damn prison' I thought because using the trident this much was a bit tiring but bearable.

After a couple of hours of using our tridents then we saw land up ahead, not long after we made it to land. I saw that it had a flower forest forest Biome up ahead, a plains biome to the left, and a desert biome to the right. I started walking but Tommy suggested otherwise. "I t-think we should r-rest a bit." Tommy said exhausted. "Hmm maybe your right, fine lest rest up since we did use trident for about 3 hours" I said then we sat down and ate dinner. After about 30 mins we got up and started walking toward the forest. After a while I heard footsteps up ahead. "shh" I told Phil and Tommy. "You heard something?" Phil asked. "Yeah it sounded like a person's footsteps." We stayed silent for a moment until I looked forward and I saw Lucid up ahead. "Lucid whe-" I was gonna ask lucid where was Ghost Dre but then he fell to his side and then I saw the little ghost in a bed of flowers.

I saw the ghost wake up and looked around and stopped when he saw Lucid besides him not moving. I then sprinted up to Ghost Dre and Lucid. Ghost Dre was crying thinking Lucid was dead he then saw me and started hugging me very tightly. I then checked Lucid's pulse and saw he was alive but passed out. I sighed in relief, I then hugged Ghost Dre. "It's gonna be okay Ghost Dre, he's unconscious and will be asleep for about a day or two, but he will be okay" I told Ghost Dre and he thanked me for coming to find him. "Thank you Techno, I'm really happy that you came for me. I thought you where gonna leave me like a lot of people do" What he said broke me heart. "Ghost Dre, I'll make sure that you don't feel what you felt when in that place, you'll be safe from now on. I'll make sure of that" I said meaning every little thing I said. Ghost Dre then started crying even more, not having met anyone as caring towards to him as Techno is right now "Thank You Techy" is what Ghost Dre said.
