"Hey, let's go to the fair later on."

"Hm? Fair?" the two were walking home from school as Eren started to speak. "Yeah, fair. I only went once before and I went with my parents but uh we could go— I mean if you don't want to then it's fine." Eren said, playing with his hands as he waited for her answer.

"Sure, we can call this a date." Y/n said as his eyes widened while his cheeks was soon coated with red. "Date?" Eren whispered, decreasing his pace as she looked back at him and nodded. "Yeah, I mean..we are "dating" now."

'I've read this before..they go on a date and then they go on a farris wheel and kiss!' Eren thought, starting to feel nervous as Y/n gave him an odd look. "Something wrong?" she asked as he quickly nodded.

"I mean no! Nothing's wrong! We can go as a date!"

"You're voice is cracking up!" Y/n laughed at him while he started to feel embarrassed, hiding his face with his shirt while he looked the other way as his heart started to race. 'Stop saying random things then!'

"What time? Now?" she asked him, walking by his side as he shrugged. "We can change first then we can go." he said while she hummed. "I'll meet you at your place then."

"Huh? No, i'll go over to your place!" Eren said, standing straight as she kept walking, glancing back at him before she shook her head. "You're cute, surprised you don't have a girlfriend yet— well besides me, guess i'll be your first and last."

She said without thinking as she heard him trip
on his shoelace's. "You like me?!" he immediately said, pushing himself to stand up as she turned around. "What?! No! That's not what I mean!" she walked over to him, whacking him with her paper before turning back around.

"I meant i'll be your first and last, like i'm gonna be the only "girlfriend" you'll ever have you maniac!" she crossed her arms and started to head home while he quickly tied his laces and tried catching up with her.

"I knew what you meant!"

'I really didn't!'

"Eren has a girlfriend?" Armin said, fixing his glasses as Marco shrugged. "Maybe. It's funny how Ymir tried getting with Historia but Yeager just got a girlfriend like that." Marco laughed a bit.

"Oh! Talking about Ymir and Historia! I saw them on a date a few days ago!" Armin said, putting his book in his book bag. "And Jean was trying to ask out Mikasa, like always.."

Eren waited outside her house door, looking everywhere but her father. "So, are you taking Y/n on a date?" D/n asked, looking down at Eren as he gulped.

"No! Not at all, i'm helping her with this thing on love and—" Eren said, fear going through his body before he felt her take his hand. "Bye, see you for dinner." Y/n said, dragging Eren away as she gave her dad a small wave before leaving.

"Your dad's scary.." Eren mumbled. "Really? Then he might like you." Y/n said, laughing at him while he became confused. "How does he like me?! How the hell does that work?!"

"I don't know. Why don't you ask him?"

"Hell no!"

"Then you'll never know, Eren." she said before she slowed down her pace, letting go his hand while he deadpanned at her. "Then you'll never know, Eren." he mocked her, feeling her eyes on him as he gulped.

"How far is the fair?" she asked him. "Around the corner." he said, walking in front of her after he grabbed her arm and lead the way.

The idea of taking her to the fair was something he had since a few days ago. He saw the poster hung up at a chocolate shop and decided that it was a great idea to ask her out— to ask her if she would come with him.

"We're here." Eren said as she watched many people walk around with prizes in their hands. "I always wanted a teddy bear from one of these but I would always loose." Y/n said, laughing afterwards as Eren looked at her.

"Me too." he mumbled as they were soon shoved to the side, both looking at the big group of people who were only roaming around. "Aw look at this! We have a young couple!"

The two immediately turned to the old lady, their eyes widening as they looked up at the sign above them. "This is a game for couples?!" they said at the same time. "Yes and a very easy one! Only one kiss and you'll get this teddy bear!" the old lady smiled at the two.

"But we— for a teddy bear?!" the two spoke, looking at the old woman as if she was crazy. "Mhm, only one!" the two desperately wanted a teddy bear but to kiss the other was definitely a no.

"Y/n, we don't have to—"

But she did, she cupped his cheeks, making his eyes go wide as he felt her lips quickly and gently, go on top of his. It was only for about five seconds and during those five seconds, he wondered why she was carrying it out for so long. He didn't know what to do except to kiss her back which made her pull away.

"Your prize!" the old lady handed them a huge teddy bear, giving it to Y/n as Eren stood still, almost froze like a statue. "Thank you." she quickly said as she hid her face from him.

"I was going to say we didn't have to do it!"

"Well I wanted the teddy bear!"
