Bystander's POV
As I stumbled my way threw the streets under the dark blanket that is called the night sky, I went to the one place that I was most familiar with.. my old college.. a lot of times people thought I loved my old college when I was alive but in all reality it was my hell, the second place on earth that I hated most and yet I'm at the entrance once again, I don't remember why I hated this place so much, after I died I lost my memories of a lot of things I only remembered my old best friend and that this place I was about to enter was the second place I hated most.
As I walked in the entrance the memory of kids laughing filled my head once again, the structure barely lived to see another day after the fire but anyone and almost everything inside was burned to ash. The smell of hatred loomed in the air, every breath I took I resented the place even more, yet I didn't turn back, it's as if I was looking for something.. for someone.. I just kept walking the way my feet took me, it's as if I knew exactly where to go in this place without thinking about it, the only thing I remember about this place was that this was my old college that I went to before I died, or should I say the old me? I guess so..
I saw a set of stairs that were all torn and ready to cave in at any minute, I went ahead and floated my way up them because I didn't feel like falling threw the floor, when I got on the second floor it looked even worse than the first floor.
As I walked along the deserted floor I saw something that I only half expected to see.. bones.. human bones.. I'm not all that surprised because I've seen human bones a lot but never have I seen any in my own school or old school I guess.
I kneeled down next to the bones and touched them.. "*cough* Live a g-good life *cough* in the a-afterlife *cough*".. After saying those words I saw a soul emerge from the bones they were caged in, "W-What.. where am I-I-?" They asked fear showing in their eyes which now showed no shine to them such as mine, I just stayed quiet as I looked at them as no emotion showed in my eyes, they shouted at me worrying for where they were, but as they were shouting their wings came out of their back.. white wings.. what a surprise, I mean most dead people have white wings.
I wasn't going to give that person answers, I don't know them or care for them, I'm gonna leave them the same way I was, hopeless and fearful.
I teleported away back down to the first floor, I was planning on exploring a little more, I was walking threw when I entered the one thing I hated most.. gym.. (sorry to the people who actually like gym) why did I hate gym? That was the one place that I regretted being a bystander, this was the one place where I basically watched my friend.. I don't even want to think about it.. it doesn't matter anyways.. the blood is on my hands..
