It was two days till the end of the academy and Naruto was up to the usual pranks on the village with his mask on as always to fool everyone around him that he is ok. He was running from two jonin of the village hidden in the leaves when he was caught by iruka his sensei and was taken back to class for everyone to redo the assignment but one thing is for sure only a few people care about him.
The next day
The class was doing their finals to become genin so that they can help out the village. Naruto failed the test because of his chakra reserves being massive and because the clone got too much chakra so it looked dead. Later that night he was told about a secret test by mizuki that will let him pass. Naruto accepted the test knowing that something was up and let the hokage know about what mizuki was planning to which a promise was made. What was the promise? You ask it is to protect the most sacred treasures of the leaf and naruto agreed to do so.
So he took the scroll of sealing, went to the spot Mizuki told him to wait at and started to learn from it, which went very well. He learned his signicher move the multi-shadow clone jutsu to which he honed to perfection and finished practicing right as iruka arrived to chew him out for it. Mizuki showed up a bit later and started spewing lies about what happened but gave the truth to naruto about what the villagers thought he was. The fox he kept away to keep them safe, he was shocked that they did all that because of something he had no control over. After the whole fight iruka took naruto to his home and asked, "so what's on your mind right now?"
"All that has happened to me was because of something I couldn't control? Just doesn't sit right with me at all." naruto responds
"Well come into the academy tomorrow as you are now a full fledge ninja" iruka said after putting his headband on naruto's head
"Thanks iruka sensei!" naruto replied
The next day
Naruto had sat down at the end of a set of seats, next to him was Sakura, one of the people that is nice to him and Sasuke was next to her. They were having a good time with each other when Saku showed up, demanded to sit next to her Sasuke in a screeching voice to which Naruto covered his ears from the screeching and said when she finished "jees she has quite the set of lungs because i think i just went deaf from her voice." and with that the rest of the class burst out laughing to which he said "yep i'm deaf because i can tell all of you are laughing but i can't hear anything"
This got some concerned looks as they don't know the damage to it yet. Iruka came in and started listing off the teams ''team 7:Sakura Haruno, Sasuke Uchiha and Naruto Uzumaki." the three that mentioned was given a few glares by the fangirls and a few yells but Ino was happy for her friend [just so everyone is clear the teams are the same as cannon till this one] "team 11 Saku Haruno, Sino Chirose, Chamaka niise your sensei is Haru Iko"
Saku yells "this is not fair why does she get to be with Sasuke-kun but i don't!"
"She is the top kunoichi in the class and he is the top ninja and to balance it out we need the dead last in there" Iruka explains
"hmph" all the fan girls say at once
