the chunin exams-first exam

After the things that happened at the wave Naruto, Konohamaru and his squad were playing ninja when Konohamaru ran into a cat looking person. There was a girl with a giant fan with him and things were not going smoothly as they were late to meet with Gaara and their sensei. "Kankrow, let's get going, we are going to be late!" the girl says

"Shut up Temari and let me teach this brat a lesson!" Kankrow says as he picks Konohamaru by the scarf

"I wouldn't do that if I was you, that's the thirds grandson you know." Naruto says with a bit of anger in his voice

"Or what? You going to do eh?"

"Now Sasuke" right as Naruto said that a rock came from the trees and hit Kankrows hand having him release the kid dropping him to the ground

"Gaara! When did you get here?" Temari said when all of them look at the tree they see a red haired person with eye liner upside down on the branch next to Sasuke 'how did i or Naruto not sense he was there?' Sasuke thought

"Gaara this isn't what-"Shut up or I'll kill you!" Gaara interrupted

He then looks at Naruto and Sasuke "what are your names?"

"Naruto Uzumaki, he is Sasuke Uchiha and our last teammate is Sakura Haruno!" Naruto said

They get to the meeting place for the team "why are both of you late?" Sakura asked

"We ran into another team but they are from suna so we had to teach a bit of a lesson because one was going to hurt Konohamaru but then the last one of their team showed up out of nowhere Naruto did he get past your sensing abilities?" Sasuke explained and asked

"No he was using a sand shushwin to do that but I sensed something else like there was something wrong with him so I took a look at him to get a better sense of what he is and it's not good as I think he is like me but what i could have been had no one helped me or cared about me." Naruto explained

Their sensei showed up and gave them the slips for the chunin exam. "Be sure to show up at the academy on the third floor."

The next day

Naruto and his team showed up to the academy when Naruto felt some chakera being used. So the rest of his team was about to get to the genjutsu area when he stopped them "thats a genjutsu this is the second floor lets go to where the actual one is" the other two feel it and let them go to the room

"Hey where are you going? The test is here!" a ninja said

This ticked off the others including Lee "wow you think you are special don't you? The test is on the third floor-"take a look down the hall and goodbye!" as he said that they did but don't see any signs identifying it as the second floor but Neji uses his byakugan to see that it was a genjutsu

"We've been tricked, this is the second floor Tenten, Lee let's go!" Neji states having Lee catch up to them to slow them down but they were already in the room talking to the rest of the rookie nine

"So how was the mission in the wave?" Kiba asked

"It was good, got to kill a messed up man." Sakura replied

"How bad was he?" Ino asked while the others noticed the anger they were hiding

"He had a lot of people and there were 2,000 women in the basement 20 for his personal use and one that is used as a toilet but that's not the worst part. It was that the females in the basement were missing eyes, teeth, arms and legs, some of them were missing a mix and not even infants were safe from this!" Naruto said with them painting a picture in their heads for that to work and it disgusted them

Hinata said "I would have made him go through hell for that before killing him!" and that shocked everyone as she is one of the kindest people out there

"Everyone sit down and be quiet i am Ibiki Morino and i will be the proctor for the first test of the exam" a guy with a scar on his face said

Everyone got to their seats and remained quiet as he explained the test once he was done with that "now begin!" he said

Everyone flipped over the papers and Naruto knew that you have to cheat without being caught "number 347 was caught" one said but Naruto was using his sensory abilities to copy from Sakura but other then that everything went as normal till the last question after two hours

"Pencils down, it's time for the final question! Though you only get one chance for this question, if you take it and get it wrong you won't be at a chunin exam for the rest of your life!" Ibiki states

As time passed twelve teams left the exames and as it went the tension was getting thicker and more unbearable till time was up and half of the teams were gone Ibiki said his thing about missions: you can't refuse. the ones who stayed to get to the next test: survival.
