Chapter 36

Opening the door Thanatos became face to face with his elder brother hypnos who seemed to be a bigger stick in the mud than usual.

"For such a modest home you have such prickish security" He seemed to be fuming at the fact it took so long. Hypnos was probably angry at the many, many gates and check points there were to get to the house.

Many if which were added after you arrived back since before there were only two gates but now there was roughly one every 10 minutes after you exit the first gate.

"Hah at least I have my own house, yet another thing I beat you to first. You seem to be lacking brother " Thanatos's relationship with his brother seemed to be more on edge than it was before you had disappeared. It would probably be a good idea to ask about that later.

But if this house was considered modest in Hypnos's opinion than the royal palace must be only the size of a large mansion in the same scale.

"Stop fighting with your younger brother like a child and move over some of us don't like standing around wasting time" Thanatos's father brushed past hypnos and walked in along with the twins, violetta, and Aria as hypnos stood dumbfounded at the door. Causing Thanatos to smile in pleasure at the indifference you father in-law had given his brother .

Placing their things down they began looking around, taking in their new surroundings. You had almost forgotten that they hadn't been to your home before.

Looking at you your father in-law who was right in front of you he began to speak "glad to see your alive" he seemed very unamused at your disappearance but his statement seemed more or less nonchalant.

I laughed awkwardly and turned my attention to Aria " big sis! How are you doing? Brother isn't punishing you badly is he!?" Aria was well aware of your fears when it came to coming back and revealing yourself.

"Hehe no, he's been very sweet no need to worry" "I wasn't worried if anything you were afterall you constantly talked about him even at the facility" Aria teased. Many everyday things would remind you of Thanatos from his favorite food to doing your hair. Even if you avoided talking about him.

"Ohhhh really~" unknowingly Thanatos had snuck behind you and wrapped his arms around your waist making you blush madly knowing full well he overheard.

"You both love teasing me away to much" pouting since this would be a common occurrence in the coming week. without missing a beat they both say "your really fun to tease" I sigh heavily. "Aunty Aria!!" Lucius peaked out from behind you and your husband and ran to his favorite aunt (don't tell Elena)

Thanatos let go of you to hold your hand. You slowly turn you attention elsewhere and it was then you could hear your siblings jealousy over the blatant favoritism Lucius had towards Aria.

"Is this my little nephew!" Violent said excitedly. Although violet couldn't keep a man to save her life and despises the idea of being a mother herself ,she was quite excited about being an aunt. Lucius waved shyly to violet and the twins while still hanging onto Arias leg slightly hiding behind her.

After being acknowledged the twins quickly began to smother Lucius with attention. Talking a million miles per minute "We could do so many pranks , we will be officially the fun uncle's!" Was the main sentence you had gotten out of their rambling . You didn't know wether it was endearing or worrying.

Before getting distracted further you see from the corner of my eye i could see my dad and Thanatos's father face to face for the first time. The tension was slowly filling the room even if Lucius didn't notice it.

"You must be the father of y/n"

"And your the father of Thanatos"
