3rd Person POV

Ji squirmed in his place, his hands rubbing at his eyes to rid the radiant light from burning at his sensitive sight. He rolled onto his stomach, smushing his face in his pillow before pulling it back out to breathe.

He reared back and sat on his heals, crossing his arms petulantly before turning to glare at the menacing sun. However that caused him to become even more agitated, as staring at beaming light, wasn't the brightest idea.

After checking to see whether his older brother was still fast asleep, Ji nodded, huffing in resolution at the sight of Jimin unconscious and decided to go on a mini adventure.

He climbed down the bed, his tiny hands clutching at the bedsheets to aid in his descent down the side of the bed. He took another quick glance at his older brother's angelic face, who now Ji began to see as his parental figure.

He didn't want to bring it up to Jimin, but he's felt like his parents weren't coming back, for a while now. A part of him came to accept that reality, but mainly because that emptiness and ache he feels in his chest has been replaced with the love and affection he receives unconditionally from Jungkook and Jimin.

Of course Ji couldn't decipher those negative emotions he felt in his chest, nor could he understand why they strengthened whenever he was reminded of his parents. All he could do, was relate it to his heart getting too big.

He hadn't felt that way in a really long time. Since meeting Jungkook, to be exact. Maybe Jungkook's presence served as a distraction at the start, but after a while, Ji found himself completely forgetting about those so called negativities that sprouted in his heart.

But surely enough, they began to return when Jungkook had magically disappeared as well.

"Y day all go?...." Ji mumbled to himself as he waddled his way out the bedroom and down the hall. (Why they all go?....)

He silently gasped at the sight of his open bedroom door "Oh no..." he whispered, placing his hands dramatically over his mouth as he began to tiptoe towards his bedroom.

His bedroom door was always closed, and neither has he or Jimin been in his room for a while. So upon seeing the open door, Ji came to the conclusion that their house was either infested with ghosts, or Goldilocks had ventured into their home to seek refuge for the night.

It was moments like these that we're reminded that Ji, is a two year old toddler after all...

So with a determined mindset, Ji willed himself to investigate. He peaked his head through the doorframe, his hands clutching at the wooden interior as he timidly studied the huddled figure bundled under his duvet.

He scratched the top of his head with his hand, prolonging the inevitable confrontation he was gearing himself up to face. A part of him wondered whether he really had to go through with this, whilst the other wanted to boast about his mission to Jungkook, if he were to succeed.

So with a deep inhale, Ji made his way inside his bedroom with determined yet extremely silent steps. Which in all honesty was a whole feat in itself as he had difficulty keeping his balance.

However the closer he got to the bed, the more familiar the person occupying the bed became. Ji faltered in his steps, his eyes zeroing in on the all too familiar face which was currently obscured with long, midnight coloured tresses.

Ji's lip wobbled, his eyes misting over as he felt his heartbeat accelerate in his chest. He wiped at his eyes unceremoniously, his tiny feet padding against the carpeted flooring as he stood at the edge of the bed.
