the next morning starts slow, I wake up almost at noon and go to the kitchen to find the boys eating some pancakes and with something burnt on the sink, then I look at it, then Leo, then at it again before turning to them all

"he tried to cook, didn't he?" I ask referring to Leo "Yep" Donnie replies, sipping on his cup of coffee, then I take a box of milk from the fridge and filling a mug, then I microwave it for a minute and put some spoons of chocolate powder, then mix it while I hum the TMNT 2012 intro since it was the first song that came into my mind when I woke up

coincidence? I think not!

I finish mixing my drink and sit on the counter, drinking it while I shake my foot on the rhythm of the song I'm thinking of
"so... we kinda didn't catch up your name" Raph says, expecting me to say my name, I stay quiet for some seconds and say "I didn't throw it" then Mickey laughs, quickly covering it up with a cough when Raph glares at him
"it's Lanna, but you guys can call me anything you come up with" I say with a bit of trouble, then sip on my chocolate again before yawning
"so, what ur guys up to do today?" "We kinda can't go out during the day, so I was thinking about we play some videogames and such today, ur ok with that dudette?" Mickey asks and I nod "sure, I can grab the Xbox from downstairs if you want"
"sure, thanks"

I finish my drink and put the mug on the sink, filling the pan of.... whatever Leo tried to cook..with water and soap "ja volto"(I'll brb) I say walking downstairs and goin to grab my Xbox, then my grandma(or Ma as I call her) speaks, making me freeze in fear where I'm standing, when I'm goin upstairs and asking in a angry tone

"tá indo pra onde com isso ai?"(where you goin with that?) "pra minha 'casa' joga, o vô ta assistindo tv"(to my 'house', granddad (or just dad since I don't call my real one that) is watching tv) I reply trying not to show my fear, knowing that she could hurt me easly if she wanted to
"é melhor você trazer ele de volta depois"(you better bring it back later) she says and I nod, practically running upstairs before closing the door and locking it in a rush, feeling my heart beating way too strong to be normal while I stay there with my forehead touching the wood of the door

"What's wrong?" Leo asks, basically materializing behind me, I jump scared and look at him, feeling calmer knowing that I'm safe "don't scare me like that! I almost had a heart attack!" I say dramatically putting a hand over my chest "my Ma was just angry again and I didn't want to get hit, nothing important" I say walking to the living room, then he stops putting a hand in my shoulder

"She hits you? " he ask in a concerned tone and i answer without turning to him, not trusting me enough to do so without showing my true emotions"yea, sometimes, but that's normal" I say before crouching next to the tv and connecting the Xbox to it, turning it on and putting in my profile "so, Mickey, u know how to play Halo 4?" I ask turning to him with a fake smile

sorry i took so long to post this charpter and that it is so short, i'm having writers block and am drawing a lot since i got a new pen(and jfc, it's great-)
but don't worry! i'll try to update every day now or at least edit some chapters to make them longer
