Rearrange the Disarrange (boyxboy)

Prologue

Six years had passed since I last saw my friends and family. I had broken off all ties with them, well almost all of them except my aunt Storm. I begged her not to tell them where I live or anything about how my life was going. They didn’t deserve to know. I picked a career I never thought was good enough for me. I wanted to be part of something that was life changing like a guidance counsellor or Psychiatrist. That was until I went to a seminary about the business world. I never liked it because it took the person away from their family and friends, no time for themselves, just like my Uncle Drew and aunt Storm. Now I can see why they do it. It gives this sense of direction to strive for something more.

And now I’m part of the biggest company run by a man who took me under his wings. He thought I had potential for making it in the business world and he was right. I’ve become one of the youngest CEO. Below my position are the COO, President, the CFO and Vice President, along with a board of directors.  I have gotten to know the workers and I tried to make it a stress free work environment for them.

As for my mentor he’s a great man. Even though he doesn’t have children of his own or a wife, he was strong proud man. He built this company from the ground up. One of top companies known, everyone wanted in, until that one year. The year I officially graduate from university with a business degree. It was about to declare bankruptcy, until I came up with an idea to save it from crashing. I told him the idea and he immediately went with it. All I asked for in return was to not let the employees know it was my idea. I wanted to work my way up on the working ladder, which wasn’t an easy task. It involves a lot of late working, going out the country to get more investors with my mentor.

I still try to make time for Luca and Cloud even if I’m tired to see them after I get home from work is enough for me. To think I’m almost twenty four years old and I’m help running a company. I have boyfriend who loves me even if I don’t return it. He says he understands how it feels cause he once went through what I went through. He never told me the guy’s name, but I know it hurts him knowing I might not grow to love him.

I still think about Stryker every once in awhile, along with December and the rest. My heart is still broken. I pretend that it’s not, only Luca and Cloud see right through my act, not Dan and Tyler. Who are by the way are married. It was a nice ceremony just a few friends and family. They got married two years after they came here. They adopted a baby girl and are now in the talks of getting a surrogate mother to carry Tyler’s baby. Which I find to be a very big step for them, but who am I to tell them otherwise.

I still can’t believe that Cloud is in university and is twenty one years old. Even though he’s not a stable relationship with a guy I don’t approve of. Sure he dated a few girls, but found them to be too clingy. His words not mine. The only thing that hasn’t change about him is that he’s still hyper most of the time.

My thoughts were cut off by someone coming out on to the terrace of the hotel. It was where we were having a retirement party for my mentor and he was going to announce who was going to take his place.

“Hey what are you doing out here?” I felt Luca’s arms go around my waist.

“Just thinking,” I turn around to face him and gave him a quick peck.

“About what?”

“How much my life’s changed, since coming here, meeting you, coming out, my old friends and bunch of other stuff,” Luca lifted his head from my shoulder and looked up at me. He didn’t need to say anything all he had to do was look at me and know without me having to answer.

“You don’t have to worry so much about the past anymore and who knows maybe you two will meet again someday. But for now we have to go back inside, your favourite boss has been asking for,” he straighten out my tie and put his hands back to his side.

 I grabbed his hand before he could walk, “You do know I only have one boss right?”

“I know, I was just seeing if you were paying attention. Come on before your cousin decides to a belly flop into the fountain.” He was walking, but I stopped him and pulled him towards me. I kissed him with passion, when we pulled apart we were both panting for breath. I gave a smirk and pulled him inside since he was still recovering from the sudden attack to his lips.

He’s right maybe I’ll meet Stryker and the rest. I got to stop being so restful for what happen. I forgave them long time ago. I just hope they did to.

Hey so this a sequel to "Life is Complicated" I decided to use a different word for Complicated which is Disarrange. I really hope people like this story.
