Tommy was woken up by someone knocking on his door, loudly. He slowly got up, still in pain but pushed through it
He got over to his door and opened it to see two silhouettes standing in front of him
"Tommy!"
He heard before being tackled to the floor. He looked to see it was Tubbo
"Hey Tubs..."
"Alright, what's going on? You don't normally fall when I try to tackle you"
Tubbo saying whilst getting up. Ranboo entered and helped Tommy up
"Thanks Ranboo..."
"Somethings definitely wrong, your not insulting me or denying my help"
They only then saw how pale Tommy was and how much of a mess he looked like
"Alright mister, tell us what's wrong or else"
Tubbo says giving Tommy a death stare
"I'm fine, honestly... just a bit tired, that's all..."
He says giving an awkward smile, Tommy didn't want their last moments to be worrying about him
"Ok, but you better be ready, we've planned out a picnic for all three of us"
Tubbo says exited
"Alright, let's give him some space to get changed first, then we'll get going, ok?"
"Sure..."
Tommy says looking up at Ranboo. The two stepped outside, so Tommy could change. Despite knowing he's going to die, he was excited for today
Once he was changed he stepped outside to see Ranboo holding a basket and Tubbo with a picnic blanket. He saw that he must of slept in because it was already past to middle of the day
"Alright, let's go, we've picked out the perfect spot"
Tubbo's says with a big smile
They started walking towards the spot, guiding Tommy to where it was. Both Tubbo and Ranboo were concerned about why Tommy hasn't insulted them yet for pointing him in the right direction
They eventually got to the spot and it was beautiful. It was a giant grass field with different flowers everywhere, a few trees dotted around and a perfect view of the sun for when it's setting
They set everything up making sure the sun was perfectly in view for a sunset. Once everything was ready, they sat down and opened the basket to a bunch of food prepared
"This is gonna be great when the sunsets"
Tubbo's says looking over to the sun
"I hope so"
Tommy says whilst getting a piece of bread. They all started to eat and chat about everything that has happened
"So, has Micheal said his first word yet?"
Tommy says finishing a mouthful
"Not yet, but I think he's almost there"
Ranboo says with a slight smile
"We can't wait to see what it is though"
"It definitely ain't gonna be mama"
Tommy says jokingly, which got a small chuckle from the others
A hour later they had finished the food and was laying down in a triangle with their heads almost touching, they were just looking at the clouds waiting for the sunset
"This is nice..."
Tommy says breaking the silence
"Yeah, we should do it more often"
Tubbo's says chirping in. Ranboo just hummed in agreement
Tommy knew they wouldn't be able to though... he was already feeling tired and could feel his life slowly slipping away. But he wasn't ready yet, he was going to see the sunset and have a finale hug with his best friends
When the sun started to go down, they sat up next to each other waiting for the perfect moment. They were sat in height order and leaning against each other
"It is beautiful..."
Tommy says quietly
"We are definitely doing this again"
Ranboo says leaning on Tommy's head
The sun had almost disappeared and Tommy knew, it was time.....
He didn't want to cry though, not just because it would burn Ranboo, it was because he wanted this to be happy... he closed his eyes and let go of everything....
Tubbo looked up to Tommy snd saw that he wasn't moving at all
"Tommy?"
He says gaining Ranboo's attention
"Tommy? You alright?"
Tubbo says whilst getting up and giving Tommy a slight nudge. But there was no response
"T-Tommy?..."
Ranboo moved Tommy off him and laid him down. Tubbo immediately started to look for a pulse but found nothing...
"TOMMY DON'T YOU DARE DO THIS TO ME!"
Tubbo says whilst bursting into tears. Ranboo could only stare in horror
"TOMMY PLEASE DON'T DO THIS TO ME!"
Tubbo says whilst clinging onto Tommy's now lifeless body...
Ranboo was now also starting to cry and could feel his face burning
He looked up to see Puffy in the distance watching them. When she saw Ranboo notice her, she came over to see
She came over to see Tubbo sobbing whilst clinging to Tommy's body and to Ranboo's face burning
"I'm sorry.... I tried to help him but.... there was nothing I could do..."
The realisation hit Ranboo like a train. He now understood why Tommy hadn't visited them... he wanted his last day to be with them...
