Ella woke up on land, sitting up, the river was right in front of her, wiping her eyes, Ella rose her hand to her head subconsciously before quickly removing it, not wanting to jinx herself, looking around, Ella soon panicked when she couldn't find Nate
"Nate", Ella called out, getting up, off the ground, "NATE", Ella ran over to the side of the river, only to see nothing, quickly pulling out a pair of binoculars, Ella immediately began following the river until she spotted a familiar silhouette, lying unconscious far away from her, "Nate... we're coming, just hang on", Ella put the binoculars away and quickly ran toward a pathway, only to skid to a stop as a Shoreline vehicle appeared and stop in front of her
"Need a ride", a familiar voice asked, looking at the driver's seat, Elena was in the seat
"Elena... how did you get here", Ella asked, as Elena held out a radio, the familiar sound of a seaplane could be heard, looking up, Sully's seaplane was flying around, not long after, Ella laughed as she grabbed the radio from Elena, "Sully, you beautiful, beautiful sonofabitch",
"Nice to see you too, kid, how are things going down there", Sully asked
"A lot of stuff's happened, Nate and I got separated, Elena and I are heading his way", Ella said
"What about Sam", Sully asked, Ella stayed quiet for a few seconds
"I think Nate should tell you about that when we find him", Ella replied
"Alright, be careful out there, kid", Sully said
"Will do", Ella said, looking over at Elena
"Trade ya", Elena said, holding a gun out, as Ella returned the radio, she took the gun, hopped into the car and Elena began driving down the path, towards Nate, "You got a lot to fill me in on, that and me being a future aunt",
"Sully told you, didn't he", Ella asked
"He did", Elena said with a laugh
"Yeah, we're still on the route to the treasure, with Shoreline all over the place, and Sam lying to us", Ella explained
"Wait... he lied", Elena asked in confusion
"He told us he owed money to Hector Alcazar... we just found out he's been dead for six months now", Ella stated, "He's been working with one of our old friends, now enemy, Rafe Adler",
"I've heard about him, there's been a lot of stories going on about him recently", Elena said
"Yeah, fifteen years ago, Rafe joined us on the search for the treasure; he got us into a Panamanian Prison for the clue we needed", Ella explained, "throughout my time there, I went by Eric, due to it being an all-male prison, wasn't fun, but Sam tried playing matchmaker with Nate and I, and Rafe tried hitting on he, but I didn't go for it... and I'm off topic, aren't I",
"Very", Elena said with a laugh
"Sorry, anyway, we got the clue, but Rafe killed a guard, sending the guards on us; we thought Sam died as Nate, Rafe, and I escaped", Ella explained once again, "we eventually stayed in Scotland searching for clues, Nate was out of it after what happened to Sam, and Rafe kept going on edge; running into dead ends, and dealing with us, he was pretty much about to kill anyone on sight; as I talked with Nate, both of us agreed, "this isn't worth it", and "let's get out of here", so I snuck up and stole a boat key as Nate met me up at the docks; we got on a boat and sped off, never looked back, Avery's treasure faded from our minds, and we went of other jobs with Sully",
"I see", Elena said, parking the jeep, the two girls got out and began walking down a pathway, as the girls chatted, both soon stopped when they found Nate, he had a small wound on his forehead and was still passed out
"Oh no", Ella muttered, the two girls running up to him
"Nate", Elena called out
"Nate, wake up", Ella called out, lightly slapping Nate on his cheek, Nate let out a groan and opened his eyes
"El...", Nate grumbled out as Ella let out a sigh of relief
"Thank god you're ok", Ella said as both girls began patching up his forehead wound
"Elena... what are you doing here", Nate asked
"Thought you two could use the help", Elena said with a small smile causing Nate to turn to Ella
"Ella", Nate asked
"Don't look at me, she called and said she was coming", Ella stated, Elena laughing silently as Nate turned his head back to Elena
"How did you get here", Nate asked as Elena pulled out the radio, and Sully's seaplane flew over the three, "of course",
"Come in, Sully", Elena called out
"Hey, darlin' how you two doing", Sully greeted
"Found Nate, he's banged up, but alive", Elena stated, "Now we just need to rescue the other Drake",
"What do you mean", Sully asked
"And here's where we let Nate tell you", Ella responded as Elena held the radio out to Nate who grabbed it
"Hey pal, glad you could join us", Nate said
"Yeah, wouldn't miss it", Sully said, "so what happened to Sam",
"Rafe's got him", Nate responded
"Shit, you know where they are", Sully asked
"Yeah, they're headed to the northern side of the island, see if you can find a place to set down over there", Nate asked, "once we get Sam, we're going to need to get outta here pretty quick",
"Copy that, hey, what about the treasure", Sully asked
"Forget it, we don't need it", Nate stated
"But Alcazar", Sully began
"No, there is no Alcazar, it's all bullshit, Sam made it all up; what an asshole, right", Nate stated, "look, I'll fill you in on everything when I see you, kay",
"Yeah, can't wait", Sully said, "look, you three be safe down there"
"You know us", Nate replied as Elena held out a gun
"Trade ya", Elena said as the two traded, "Come on, we're this way",
"El... I wanna apologize again, If I'd known...", Nate began
"Nate, it's ok, believe me, this isn't the first time", Ella explained, "me bringing you clothes and picking you up from ditches after your travels with Dante, your real last name, it's alright, we've been down this path before, I'll dive right into another adventure with you anytime",
"What did I do to deserve you", Nate asked
"Well, you didn't kick me away like everyone else did, you stayed by my side when I needed it, and you've saved me a lot", Ella stated, "to whichever side, Nathan Morgan or Nathan Drake, I'll be by your side",
"I love you", Nate said
"I love you too", Ella said as the two shared a quick kiss and went after Elena
