"So, we're headed to the northern side of the island", Elena asked, the three running through the jungle, making their way back to the 4x4 jeep
"Yeah, New Devon, it's home to the founders of Libertalia", Nate replied
"And that's where Rafe is taking your brother", Elena asked
"The treasure's probably there, we just gotta reach Sam before they find it", Ella responded, the three continuing their journey, even coming across an elevator system, not long after, the 4x4 was in sight... and so was Shoreline, "Uh-oh, Shoreline",
"They found your car", Nate said
"Technically, it's their car", Elena corrected
"So, let's get it back", Nate said, the three sneaking around the area, not long the three quickly jumped into the 4x4, and drove off as they were spotted, the four were now on their way to New Devon, "Ok, I'm pretty sure we lost them",
"Ok, so, here's my question, why does Rafe Adler want Avery's treasure, it's not like he needs the money", Elena asked
"He wants the glory, doesn't want to be known as a guy who only got rich because of his inheritance", Nate explained, "walking away isn't an option for him",
"At least, this isn't a cursed treasure, or a radioactive one, right", Ella asked
"Right", Nate replied
"You know E, you could write an article about this", Ella said
"I could... doubt people would believe it", Elena stated
"You could take pictures", Nate replied
"I didn't bring my camera... kinda wish I did though", Elena said, "Why didn't Sam come straight to you guys after Rafe got him out of prison",
"I think he wanted to gather every clue on Avery before bailing on him", Nate began
"That, and he needed to come up with that Alcazar story to rope us back in", Ella finished
"If I had just looked it up", Nate muttered
"Hey... stop blaming yourself", Ella said, slapping Nate on the back of his head
"Hey, don't hit the driver", Nate teased as the three made it to the elevator, parking the car in front of the elevator, the three got out of the car, and walked up towards the wooden door and began lifting it up, pushing it up, the door immediately fell, causing the three to hold it once again
"Ah, crap", Nate muttered, "El, get the car",
"Got it", Ella said, running to the car and driving towards the elevator as Nate and Ella lifted the door, as the car was in, the two let the door close, "You guys ok",
"Yeah", Elena said
"Ok, here goes nothing", Nate said, pulling a leaver, making the elevator go up, there, the three saw a beautiful view of Libertalia as they made it to the top, opening the next wooden door that fortunately stayed open, the three got back in the car and began driving off once again, "Next stop, New Devon",
"Hey, Nate, Ella, Elena", Sully called out through the radio as the three were driving down the path
"We're here, Sully, where are you", Elena asked
"Still in the air, saw a bunch of Shoreline vehicles heading north", Sully stated
"Guess we'll see them soon", Elena said
"You three doing ok so far", Sully asked
"We hit a few hitches, but... so far so good", Elena said
"Alright, good, keep in touch with me, will ya, I'm not the "no news is good news" type", Sully stated
"We'll try, over and out", Elena said as the three made it to the bridge
"Alright, should just be across this bridge", Nate said, driving onto the bridge, however, it began to break
"Nate", Ella called out as Nate floored the 4x4
"Hold on", Nate called out
"Floor it", Elena shouted
"Oh, I hate bridges", Nate stated as the piece they were on fell into the river, "Ah, hell",
"Turn around, we're heading straight for the falls", Elena shouted
"I can't, currents too strong", Nate said
"Nate, over there", Ella said, pointing towards an area with a log blocking the water
"On it", Nate said, maneuvering the vehicle over, not long after, the car was in place, "Alright, go, go", Elena and Ella climbed up, as Nate began to climb up, the root he held onto broke, sending him back to the 4x4, and the 4x4 began moving towards the falls
"NATE", Ella shouted, she and Elena running towards the side, not long after, Nate grappled onto a tree, "NATE",
"IT'S OK, I'M OK", Nate shouted
"THE TREE, THE TREE IS NOT OK", Elena shouted
"Oh, come on", Nate muttered, swinging over to safety, Ella and Elena helping him up
"Well, so much for the car", Elena said
"As long as everyone's alright, that's all that matters, right", Ella asked as the two nodded their heads and began walking forward, back towards the bridge, and entering a cave, filled with many skeletons
"Whoa, judging by the clothes... they're the colonists", Nate said, "Maybe it was a fight",
"No, I don't think so, look at how they're arranged", Elena said
"It's a mass grave", Ella said, climbing out, the three found a skeleton, a sign labeled traitor hung from a gibbet
"What is this", Elena asked
"Look at the sign, "Traitor", Nate said
"One of the rebels", Ella asked as Nate nodded his head, walking around, they found more gibbets, making their way back to the bridge...
"Oh, my god", Nate said in shock, looking at the many gibbets in front of the gates of New Devon.
