"ARE you busy?"

Willa Jenica peeked from behind the door of Vaughn's office.

He raised his head just to see her smiling widely. She seemed really happy.

"Uh..." He sighed.

"Hi!" Nakangiting sabi ng babae nang makapasok. "How's the boss of the AVENUEWORLD?... Hon, you really look dashing in your corporate suit!"

Tumayo si Vaughn at sinalubong ito. He kissed her cheek. "How are you?"

"I'm good. I went out to fit my wedding gown then I decided to visit you here!" Masayang sabi ng babae. Tinaas nito ang paper bag na dala "Look! I bought you food..." Pagkatapos ay nilagay ito sa center table. "Oh! I can't wait to marry you soon hon. I promise, you're gonna love me."

Salita na nagpahinto kay Vaughn. Kumuyom ang kanyang kamao. Muli ay nadagdagan ang galit niya. She's too confident with her last words. He's a man, yes. But he's the type of man who will not fall so easily. She is too clingy and he doesn't like it. Now he's wondering why his parents loves her so much to the point of betrothing her to him. Can't they see what he sees? Nabulag siguro sila sa kabaitang pinapakita nito.

Hinawakan ni Willa Jenica ang kamay niya habang hindi parin mawala-wala ang ngiti nito sa labi. "Come, take a sit hon." Nagpatianod siya rito. The woman sat beside him.

Tumikhim siya at tinignan ang mga pagkaing nakahain.

"By the way, tita asked me to give you this..."

May inabot ito sa kanya.

Hindi na mawala-wala ang ngiti sa labi ng babae nang makita ngayon si Vaughn.

"It's been two months now and tita wants us to have a date before our wedding, she wants us to have time together. You know, to know things better between us. Maybe then you will love me." Hindi alam ni Vaughn kung ugali na ba nitong magsalita ng diretso o talagang makapal lang ang mukha nito. Mabuti nalang hindi siya nabulunan sa kinain.

They grew up together but as time goes by she changed. Ngayon parang hindi na niya ito kilala. At hindi niya maintindihan kung bakit hindi nakikita ng mga magulang niya ang nakikita niya rito. She's not the Willa Jenica he knew.

But then he tried to act normal, she's still his fiancée and he needs to respect her though he don't love her.

"Alright," tanging salita na lumabas sa bibig niya.

Every time Willa Jenica and his parents stay in close with him he felt suffocated and everything is suck. Hindi niya alam kung kaya ba niyang matagalan ang ganitong setup but he will try his best hanggang sa tuluyang mapasa sa kanya ang titulo ng AVENUEWORLD. He can't live with her forever.

"How's preparation?" Tanong niya without looking at her, he let her prepare everything for the wedding. Wala siyang pakialam kung ano ang kalalabasan basta hinahayaan lang niya ito sa mga gusto nito. Siya naman ang magbabayad sa lahat kaya kung anong hiling nito pinagbibigyan niya. It was only a money, he swear he will not put sweat on it, just money is enough.

"You have nothing to worry, everything's actually fine."
