It was only suppose to be a project then they would go back to ignoring each other. Lauren didnt care though, her plan was to avoid Logan and never speak to him again. Logan's plan was similar, dont go near nerd girl again.

Last night didn't change a thing, I still didn't like Logan but before he left we both agreed to be civil when our parents were around.
I looked over at the time knowing I had to get up now if I didn't want to be late. Only two more days I reminded myself as I quickly got ready.

Mum wasn't up yet as her shift started later and dad was sat drinking coffee when I walked in.
"Morning dad" I say as I make myself breakfast and pour myself coffee. "Morning kid" he replied as he read through a case
When I sat down he spoke again. "Was last night a bad idea, you both didn't seem pleased to see each other" "No it was fine just we were both shocked to see each other" I didn't want my dad to worry and it was the truth, we were shocked and the night did go fine. "What was with the name calling" he continued. "So I'm his partner for history, hence nerd girl. And I just find him really arrogant" I try to explain and dad laughs "you both need to give each other a chance"
time skip
Suprisingly I hadn't had anyone call me a name in a total of 15 minutes. Which sounded bad but it was a new record. "Here is your book nerd girl" I jump in suprise which made him snicker, he handed me my science book which I gladly accepted. He looked me over and before I could ask what he was doing he left.
Logan
I wasn't going to start being nice to nerd girl, she wasn't my best friend anymore, she was just some annoying brat. I hope she didn't expect us to be friends now. After returning her science book I looked her over, just because I wasn't going to be nice didn't mean I couldn't check to see if she was alright.
Before I could go to my next class Brianna appeared in front of me. She was good to look at but apart from that she was nothing. She kissed me and for a moment I joined in but then I saw Lauren leave for class but Jake was following. After the comment he made yesterday I wasnt about to leave her alone with him. I told myself in gym the other day that I wouldn't let nerd girl get hurt by him.
Thankfully we had the same class so after pushing Brittney away I head to class.
I see Jake talking to Nerd girl and for the second time I feel the need to protect nerd girl, the first time was gym the other day. "You say no but I know you want me" "You're disgusting" "I'll stop when you finally agree'
"Nerd girl let's go" I say and grab her arm, I try not to hurt her as I drag her away because I don't want others to see this part of me.
Lauren I left my locker quickly and headed to my next class. I was almost there when Jake stopped me. I hated Jake more than anyone in this school. He was the biggest bully but he was also trying to get me to have sex with him. Each time he got angry after I reject him.
"Nerd girl let's go" and for the first time i was glad to see Logan, he interrupted the conversation and dragged me away before anything else can be said. "You okay" he asks and I nod "thanks for that" I reply and his cold expression returns "doesn't make us friends, I still don't like you" he tells me and I roll my eyes "our friendship ended 6 years ago" and with that I walk into class.
The rest of the day goes quickly, a few insults from Brianna and her friends and paper balls thrown at me by Logan.
I can't lie though, I had a strong dislike for him and him for me. But it did hurt knowing we used to be best friends,we used to do everything together and now he was one of my bullies.
"Nerd girl we need to work on the project" he said after he approached my locker. I had no intentions of doing it today but clearly he had other plans. "Come on" he said and I locked my locker after grabbing my stuff. "where are we going, the library is back that way" I tell him and he turns with a glare

Well this should be fun. Note my sarcasm because I rather not come into contact with him..
3rd person
Logan was pissed, his mum wanted him to bring Lauren round to meet Morgan. Morgan had recently turned 6, his mum fell pregnant shortly after the move. He felt annoyed but figured if they work on their project they could be in each others presence for less time. It was ideal as the less time he spent with her the better. Meanwhile Lauren was freaking out, she wasn't going to show it but the nerves were starting to get to her. It's just the same as last night But no matter how much she told herself that, she was still nervous to go to his house.
