at practice

Suna has invited you to watch one of his practices with his team and you gladly accepted it. You have always wanted to watch him play. He told you that he also wanted to introduce you to the team, which made you nervous but it had to be done! The mentioned practice is at the same time as one of your doctor appointments, so Suna wasn't able to accompany you.

You're now on the way to the gym that Suna's team practices in. It's quite a sunny day for autumn time and you enjoy the fresh afternoon air. Since you put on a coat, nothing of your belly can be seen, 10 weeks doesn't give one a big bump at all. However, you're walking with one hand on top of it, because it makes you feel safer.

Soon enough you arrive at the entrance and step into the large building. Suna said that he'll be practicing in hall 3 which is the biggest one. You get slightly nervous because you've never been here before, not knowing where to go.

"Hey, can I help you?"

You turn around, seeing two tall guys. 'They must be volleyball players as well'

"Uhh, I was looking for hall 3" you say quietly and one of them steps forward. "Perfect, we're headed there as well" he says and puts his hand on your lower back, leading you through the hallway. The other sprints after you two and starts walking on the other side with his hands in his pocket. You don't know what to feel, but they're being helpful so it's alright.. right?

"So why are you here, beautiful?" the dark-haired on your right asks, his hand still on your back. You frown at his little name he gave you but then straighten up. "I came to watch the team practice"

The other one chuckles and looks at you, meeting your gaze. "Now that's going to give them and us motivation"
You just laugh slightly and then keep your eyes fixed forward. 'So they're on Suna's team?'

You finally arrive at the hall, they open the door to the gym and you peak inside. Lots of volleyball players can be seen and the sound of the many balls hitting the floor is louder than you would've thought.
They leave the door opened as they turn back to you. "You can take these stairs, they'll lead you to the audience area way up"

You nod and smile. "Thank you!"

And with that they step inside, the door closing. What you didn't see was Suna glaring at the two boys talking to you.

You walk upstairs and find a good spot to sit down overviewing the big gym. Suna's team is currently practicing spikes. You spot him and see that he's already looking at you with a smile. You wave at him and then gesture for him to go on practicing. He gives you a thumbs up, then points to the ball. You see him mouth something: This one's for you.

You smile brightly and stand up walking to the railing to get a better view. ‚Nice one' you think to yourself after his spike.
Looking through the audience area you can see some other people watching. A group of girls is right opposite from you on the other side. "Fangirls huh?"

After about 30 minutes it's over and everyone shakes hands and they bow to their coach, who then leaves. Suna then speaks up as the players get ready to leave, saying something you can't hear but then points at you. You feel heat rush all over your face as the whole team looks at you.

He motions for you to come down and you nod with a small smile. You step down the stairs and then arriving in the hallway, breathe deeply once more before opening the door.

You can already feel all their eyes on you. Suna walks over and puts his arm around your waist. "You don't have to be nervous" he whispers and you just nod not knowing what to say.

Everyone has gathered around the two of you now, expectant of what is going to happen. You lift your gaze, looking at each of them and see the two players from before again. You chuckle at their confused faces.

"Well what's up Suna?" one of his teammates asks, eyeing you curiously.

"Yeah so like I said I wanted to introduce you to someone...", he stops and looks at you lovingly.
".. so here is Y/n, my girlfriend"

There's sudden murmuring but it dies down quickly as the first ones step forward, introducing themselves. You take your time with everyone, trying to remember all of their names.

The longer you're there the more relaxed you feel as they are very welcoming and excited. Even the two guys from earlier introduce themselves properly now and excuse themselves in front of Suna who smacks their heads playfully. You already feel comfortable around the players.

Suna keeps looking at you as you're talking to some of his teammates and feels proud. His closest friend walks up to him and pats his shoulder. "What a pretty girl you have" he says. Suna smiles as his gaze is fixed on you. "I know right?"

You look at him and smile, walking back to him. He takes your hand and caresses it gently.
"There is one more thing.." he then exclaims to everyone. Your eyes widen. 'He's okay with saying it?'

He looks at you and you nod. With that he puts his free hand onto your belly and smiles. "We're expecting a baby"

Now the silence is lasting a bit longer and you look at their stunned faces. Head scratching, exchanging looks, but soon enough a build up of even greater excitement.

"Oh damn, you're pregnant?"

"Congratulations!"

Lots of congratulations from their side. You're now beaming from happiness as each of his teammates congratulates the two of you. And lots of playful teasing towards Suna too about getting you pregnant. You just chuckle at their remarks as Suna rolls his eyes.

After a while you say your goodbyes and everyone walks off to go home.

Suna intertwines his hand with yours as the two of you walk out the building. "You seem content" he says and you smile. "I didn't think you'd tell them, at least not now already"

He chuckles. "I can't help myself"

"Oh, I wanted to ask you this" he then says, swinging your hands slightly. "I have another match in two weeks. Do you want to come?"
"Of course I do" your face showing excitement. "I like seeing you play"

He nods and flexes his other arm. "Yeah great muscles right?" You laugh and smack his chest making him lower his arm. "Partially, but honestly you play so nicely"

Now he's the one beaming. You can tell it means a lot to him. "Thank you beautiful"
His smile melting your heart.
"My pleasure pretty boy" you say, adding the last part quietly but still audible.
