Chapter Twenty-Nine

[Warning- Verbal abuse]

Jimin stares at Jungkook who was currently walking around a zoo with Taehyung. He is following Jungkook as protection on the two's friendly outing. Jimin knows Taehyung likes Jungkook. And he also knows that Jungkook only sees Taehyung as a friend.

And I hope that it stays that way.

Jimin lets out a sigh. He is being selfish again. He keeps forgetting that he is dead. And he can't live with Jungkook. He can't ruin Jungkook's life.

He is pulled out of his thoughts when he hears Jungkook laughing at something Taehyung said about the koala.

Koalas are not funny, Jimin scoffed.

"You can never really stop being jealous, can you?" The voice speaks. Jimin rolls his eyes.

"Yeah. I try though but seeing my J--"

"He is not yours. Jeongguk is yours. Jungkook is not," The voice lied.

[A/N: On a note, Jeongguk is pronounced as Jeon-gguk, and Jungkook is just pronounced as Jungkook. I hope you understood lol]

"Shut up!" Jimin grumbled. "Jungkook loves me!" He exclaimed with a glare.

"And look where your love brought him."

"I-I will protect him!" Jimin argued.

"Have you realized something, Park Jimin?"

"What?"

"You moved on from Jeongguk."

"What the fuck?! What do you mean by that?!" Jimin stares at Jungkook with wide eyes.

"Even if Jeongguk reincarnated as Jungkook, both of them are two different beings. Jungkook can't kill even if a person did harmful things to him. And you know about your dead husband. He is the complete opposite. Both have completely different personalities. And you know what? You fell in love with this college nerd," The voice calmly answered.

"Jungkook is Jeongguk! That's why I like him!" Jimin exclaimed angrily. "I love both of them. I-I mean, they both are the same!"

"Tell that to yourself."

"Look, I haven't moved on. I love Jeongguk still and this Jungkook is that Jeongguk. A-and..."

"You are blabbering, Jiminie."

Jungkook smiles up at Taehyung who is walking over to him with the tray of food in hand. "You know exactly what I like," He said to be polite making Taehyung proudly grin.

"Of course! I gotta be your ideal boyfriend right? So, I do everything I can to impress you," Taehyung replied happily as he settled in front of Jungkook who was surprised by his words.

"Y-you want to be my ideal boyfriend?" Jungkook looks around quickly but he couldn't find Jimin anywhere.

But Jimin was there.

He was watching everything from the ceiling, hanging on the immobile fan. Confused about whether he is spiderman or a ghost?

"Yeah. Why are you asking? You think I won't be able to pass your ideal boyfriend test?" Taehyung did grow confident. After he heard Lucy call him Jungkook's boyfriend and Jungkook not rejecting, he immediately latched onto the idea that Jungkook likes him back. So, why not flirt with someone who obviously likes him?
