Ugh. Isn't school literally the most annoying thing ever. There might be a few spelling or grammar mistake so please tell me. :)

Steve's POV

His Highness and I made eye contact.

That was the best moment in my 23 years of living. I felt my face heat up and I tried to avoid letting anyone notice.

"What's up with you Rogers?" Maven, the head chef, said to me looking up from the plate she was washing.

"Uhhh......" Is all I replied.

"Got the hots for the prince?" She laughed out loud. Looking at the blush that was taking over my whole body, and the expression plastered on my face, she got the answer she was looking for.

"Please don't say anything. I'll be decapitated if the royal family finds out that I have a middle school crush on Prince Tony." I cried, not wanting my life to be over just yet. She just looked at me and nodded, going back to scrub the left over food off of the plates  in the sink.

"Haha" Maven laughed. I just rolled my eye in return.

I also looked back down to my pile of dishes and started washing them again. I couldn't get his smile and flustered face out of my head. He acted so cute that I couldn't help but chuckle at how adorable my Prince was being. I really hope he didn't hear that, because he probably thought I was mocking him. The one thing I didn't want him to suspect.

I had just finished up my cleaning in the kitchen, and was walking back to my living quarters when I saw a light lighting up the dark library in the castle. I was curious, so I put out my candle, and peeked my head into the room, making sure no one saw me. I say my beautiful Prince Tony reading a book at one of the many tables.

He looked so peaceful I couldn't help but look. I wasn't sure how long I was staring, but it was long enough for him to notice me standing there.

"Hello." He said, snapping me out of my thoughts.

"Oh." I said, "I was just checking to see where the light was coming from. Sorry to disturb you, Your Highness."

"Please come in. Don't call me You Highness anymore, I'm not your king yet."

"Then what shall I call you?"

"Just address me as prince Tony. Come and sit down next to me, I won't bite."

I walked over to where the Prince was slowly, and sat down next to him cautiously. He gave me a little smile, and looked down at the book he was reading only a few seconds ago.

"Have you ever read this book?" He asked looking up at me.

"No Prince, I have not." I replied honestly. I was still a little surprised this was happening to me right now. The book was called 'The Secrets of a Royal" and was very big in comparison to the other books.

"Mm," he nodded in understanding. "You should read it, it's quite hilarious actually."

"Maybe I will."

We sat there talking and laughing for a few hours. I wasn't sure how late it had gotten until I heard the Prince yawn tiredly. I was worried about his health so I said the only thing that made sense.

"You should get some sleep Prince Tony. You have a long day ahead of you." I said quietly. He nodded in agreement.

He started getting up, so I helped him while holding his hands. My heart was beating but I just ignored it.

"Thank you for spending time with me tonight, Steve. I've been stressed and you really helped me out. Thank you." Prince Tony whispered.

"It's no problem, now get to bed safely and rest up." I said responsibly.

I watched as he stalked off out of the library and sighed. It was dark, but I knew the way back to my room.

Once I got there, I plopped down on my bed and smiled sheepishly at what happened earlier. I was so happy talking to him, and I feel like we became fairly close to each other. With that thought, I drifted off into a deep sleep.
