Author's Note:
Hi, thanks for tuning it.
You're in for a good ride, I promise.
This is going to be a long running series with regular updates. (The chapters are going to be around 1600-2500 words, so regular updates but with longer waits in between.)
English isn't my first language so correct me if something sounds weird :)

A star and a comment (critic!) is always welcome!

^HIDDEN PASSION^

When the teacher read their names out loud together Izuku dropped his pencil. It landed on the floor, no one noticed. No one looked at him when his trembling, nervous sweaty hands reached for the pencil placing it back on his desk.

Then he suppressed the need to look back and see what he thought of this pair up. It took an enormous amount of discipline and self-preservation to not take a quick glance and find out if Katsuki Bakugo, his former childhood friend and current bully, had any need to add a nasty comment, sneer or whatever to this unforeseen teamwork. But Izuku did not hear any complaints, or a snort directed at him. For now.

"And Sakoshi will be working with Tsukishima. That's all." The teacher closed his book. Then, "You have three months to prepare a throurough presentation. If you use pictures please note down where exactly this picture was taken from and as a general rule —for the love of god please— write down all your source materials which you used for your research— no Yamaguchi Wikipedia is not enough!"

Yamaguchi slowly lowered his hand back down. Someone in the backrow chuckled. The teacher rubbed her temple and continued, "Anyways, the deadline is set till July 20th, 12 pm. Not a day later. Not a minute later. Every project which doesn't meet the deadline is automatically graded 0 points."
The bell ringed and the teacher dismissed the class.

"You're so damn lucky Shinji! You got at least to work together with Hanzo. I got some fucking nobody to put up with for the next weeks." Raiden put up his feet on the table in front of him while buckling back with his chair.

Shinji smirked, "I sure got damn lucky but you're not the unluckiest here." He glanced up, his voice innocent but his face twisted in anticipation of a fight.

Raiden came to a sudden halt, "Oh shit, you're right!" He barked a thunderous laugh. Raiden was known for his loud voice and even louder laughs that appeared out of thin air. "Our poor Bakugo has to deal with the lowest of the lowest here."

Shinji turned around and watched Katsuki lean back in his chair, legs spread out. Shinji patted Bakugo's shoulder, "Fuck Bakugo... I gotta need to get shit drunk to tolerate his presence for more than 5 minutes. I wonder how you gonna do that?"

"Shinji, you got to see the real problem here." Nao a boy who swore that his blonde hair was natural joined the conversation. His voice dripped with faked pettiness as he said, "Bakugo got it real hard. I just hope the nerd's weirdness doesn't rub off on him. It would be such a shame to lose you."

There it is.

Izuku was already wondering how long it would take until the remarks would start flying. Their mockings were none other than over-used unoriginal comments which Izuku mostly tuned out. Most days ignoring and avoiding these idiots in the hallways was Izuku's daily sport but today Izuku knew he had no other choice but let the nasty remarks hit him harder than usual. Because he wanted to know. He wanted to know what Kacc— Bakugo would say about this situation.

"Watch your tongue, guys." Katsuki stood up from his chair. Izuku's ears perked up at Katsuki's voice. He stopped writing down imaginary notes for a moment to take in his next words.
