Igneel Dragneel smiled looking at the girl who he recently befriended they always had a blast together with or without the group "Tsuki" he called the girl who had her head buried in her arms "hmm?" Tsukime didn't lift her head out of her arms "thank you" he said "you're welcome" she didn't question why he was thanking her out of the blue it was one of the things he loved about her she always knew exactly what he meant without him having to explain it.
The pink-haired fire dragon slayer was glad he had a best friend like Tsukime he laid his head in his arms staring at the bluenette who fell asleep.
A soft smile on his lips this girl always managed to make him either burst out with laughter or smile within a minute whenever he was down she always knew when something brought him down and she'd be there by his side to cheer him up no matter how much he pushed her away.
Igneel moved a strand of blue hair out of her face placing it behind her ear Tsukime Dreyar despite her past was a bundle of sunshine her smile and laugh was so contagious that Igneel himself smiled and laughed with her because they always joked around with each other and stirred up mischief together.
So he knew that something was wrong when Tsukime wasn't her talkative and jokey self around him "what's wrong with you?" Reiki was the first one to question her about her odd behaviour "what's it to you?" she looked up at him with those cold seafoam eyes which always held either mischief or amusement although the two didn't get along with each other that didn't mean Reiki hated her but his personality just seemed to clash with hers which was the complete opposite of his.
Lucy looked over to the table her son was sat at with his best friend and Reiki only to see Tsukime and Reiki staring at each other although one was indifferent to the other's intense glare "it seems they got into another argument" Lucy sighed this was usual for them since both of the mages were complete opposite's of each other not only personality-wise but they also shared different views and outlook to life one liked to live their life on their own terms while the other obeyed his parents and worked diligently whereas Tsukime was always up to some mischief however it surprised her when Reiki grabbed her hand dragging the protesting girl out the guild doors what just happened? she blinked in confusion.
The redhead stopped in an alley near the guild "what's wrong?" Reiki crossed his arms staring the lightning dragon slayer down "god you're impossible" Tsukime let out a sigh of exasperation leaning her back against the wall "Haru disappeared a few days ago then I found him..." she gulped not being able to continue explaining the reason behind her odd behaviour.
Now Reiki and Tsukime weren't the closest people in the world but they knew each other well enough for the redhead to understand how the death of one of her friends was hurting her in more ways than one he might not be her best friend heck the girl always managed to get on his last nerve however even he knew his limits and this just wasn't the right time for him to use to annoy her. Reiki Fernandes wasn't good at dealing with sobbing people he always became awkward when it came to crying people but he wasn't about to walk back into the guild to call the one who could actually comfort her not after he dragged her out of that very guild so he comforted the only way he knew how from experience with his youngest sister Emerald now he knew that Tsukime wasn't a child but this was the only way he knew how to comfort someone.
Igneel occasionally looked at the guild doors impatiently waiting for the two to return but they didn't seem to come back for a long time before he got up deciding to go and look for the two "wait for me!" Scarlet followed behind the fire dragon slayer.
Tsukime probably would've preferred her best friend rather then Reiki but she didn't mind the redhead's company all that much however a scream caused both of them to snap their head in the direction where the fire dragon slayer stood pointing at them "what are you doing?!" Igneel directed his question more at the heavenly body mage then the lightning dragon who looked back at the redhead "it's not what you think!" she waved her hands in front of her chest "then what are you two doing in a-" Tsukime slapped the dragon slayer "calm?" she crossed her arms "it's really not what you're thinking" the fire dragon slayer raised a brow "then?" Tsukime sighed not really finding any need to hide the bad news from Igneel after all those two did seem to connect with their love for food and other things.
