Chapter 2

A/N: Hey guys, I just wanted to let y'all know that I've changed some things from canon, for the purpose of this story. For example, I changed the order of the Sports Festival battles, so that the Kaminari vs. Shiozaki battle is first and the Midoriya vs. Shinsou battle is third. Also, I'm sorry this chapter might be slightly confusing, but I swear everything gets explained in the next chapters :) The italic parts are things that happened in the past by the way and happy reading everyone!!!

On Kaminari's first day at UA, he'd set up some goals for himself as to not be labeled anything like the "shy kid of the class", which meant when he walked into the 1A classroom, he was going to talk to the most interesting people he could find. He took a deep breath and opened the door with confidence and after inspecting the people who were already there, which weren't as many as he thought there would be, he found the perfect duo to approach. He walked up to the raven-haired boy with weird-looking elbows, who was talking to another boy that had half and half red and white hair, a scar around his left eye, and heterochromia.

"Hi, there! My name's Kaminari Denki."

"Your name is so cool! You probably have a lightning quirk, don't you?", the ravenette said with a grin.

"Close enough, it's electricity. What about you?", Kaminari replied with a bright smile of his own.

"I'm Sero Hanta and my quirk's pretty boring...I can shoot tape from my elbows."

"Ugh, don't say that! You're like Spiderman and he's not boring, now is he?", Kaminari declared in awe.

"Oh man, thanks!", Sero exclaimed, before looking back to the other boy, who'd been standing silently next to them the whole time, "This is Todoroki by the way. He was just telling me about his eyes."

"Todoroki? Huh, I swear I've heard that name before", Kaminari chuckled.

"Yes, I am Todoroki Shoto, the son of Endeavor, the number two hero", said boy answered in a monotone voice.

"So about your eyes? They look really cool, by the way", Kaminari said and as Todoroki continued talking about his eyes, still as emotionless as before, the room dissolved in an uproar.

They turned around to see what was going on at the front of the classroom, when they saw an ash-blonde boy yelling at a green-haired boy, saying he was a "quirkless nerd and didn't deserve to be at UA". "Rude", Kaminari thought as he saw the scene play out before him,"he couldn't be quirkless, since he's in the 1A class, which is the hero course along with the 1B class, though. Quirkless people go to Class 1C, which is the general education course."

The blonde was now creating mini-explosions from his palm, threatening and calling the boy "Deku". Obviously confused, a brunette girl with pink cheeks, who probably knew this "Deku" boy, asked if that was his name. The boy in question looked like he was on the verge of a breakdown and Kaminari wouldn't blame him. With a look around, Kaminari's suspicions turned out right, everyone else was watching as well. He heard a boy with stop-sign red, spiky hair and shark teeth whisper something to a girl with pink hair, pink skin, yellow horns, and raccoon eyes along the lines of "That is so not manly!"

With all that chaos, Kaminari instantly knew he'd be in for a wild experience at UA, but that didn't scare him; it was quite the opposite, actually. He was excited, of all things. After a while, he learned all of their names and grew along with them in the class they shared. Uraraka, the girl with pink cheeks, wanted to become a hero so she could support her poor parents and ended up marrying Midoriya, who became the number 1 hero. Bakugou, the explosive blonde, was now the number 2 hero and respected the one he once called a "quirkless nerd". Kirishima ended up falling for Bakugou, despite saying he wasn't manly on that day and was now in a committed relationship with the man. As for raccoon eyes, she's Ashido Mina, Sero's girlfriend and one of Kaminari's best friends.
