Part 11

(Y/N) P.O.V.

We took our guns and moved on. Maya opened the gate. While Zero took his place on the ice scarp. We moved closer to the first bandit outpost. One Psycho run our way. I was fast to shoot him. Clean headshot. Axton looked my way. Maybe a bit surprised. Cleaning camp from bandits went fast. Of course Zero covered us from the scarp. Commando as always leads the way. I think that it will always be like that. Krieg was very quiet. I have a feeling it's not like him. Another few fast kills and Soldier tries to make the elevator work.

Hammerlock ECHO to let us know that we need a special battery. It seems someone took it away.

We walk to the other side of the building. Axton is looking at yet another bandit camp. Zero join us. He is speaking with the commander.

"We need to get the battery now. There is an electric wire that protects it."

I know that right behind the camp, there are Bullymongs pits. And you can do it few ways. Kill bandits, destroy the box and kill monsters, or the other way.

"We first need to destroy the electric box. Thanks to it the Bullymongs will attack. It will be helpful for us. Zero do you think you can shoot it from here?"

"Yes, I can try to shoot it."

So he chooses the other way to do it. The gun firing is echoing in the area. It gets the attention of monsters and so they attack. We come to kill those who still stay. I was the one to get the battery we need. Gaige opened the toilet and found some granites and one pistol. She gave it to Maya. I and the girls took the explosives. The whole action was no longer than ten minutes. I gave the soldier the battery and he starts the elevator. What surprised me they allowed Maya, Gaige, and me to first buy the shields. Next was Axton, Salvador, and Zero. Unfortunately, Krieg had some trouble.

"I will help you. Press here, now here and all done. Now you need to put it on."

I was the only one to help the poor guy. He was like a big child. I attached his new shield to one of the belt loops. With it done and after a little look around the base we come back. Of course, I felt eyes on me when I was helping Psycho. And he took my hand when we step on the elevator. It must be him showing some affection.

As I walked with Gaige and Krieg back to Liar's Berg. We were right behind the original Vault Hunters. As we made our way through the little outpost we already cleaned Mechromancer saw something in the snow.

"Guys look what is it?"

I stopped and waited for her to show the finding. It was an ECHO recorder.

"Maybe Sir Hammerlock will know something about this," I suggested. And so we went to a small town. Everybody was sitting around the empty fireplace. Gaige showed Old Hunter the device. It was Helena Pierce audios. He asked us to find the missing two ECHOs for him and get a reward. We saw three locations on our maps so we split. Gaige to the one in Hammerlocks home. I took the one near the Bullymong pit and the dumpster. We met with Alistair and listened together to the records. It seems that Jack killed New Haven refugees.

"That is awful. How one person can be this cruel?"

"On Earth in our history, we had people even worse than Handsome Jack. Some were killed, some punished and some just walk and live a normal life." I saw that my words surprised everyone. "Tyranny is nothing new. There always will be someone that will want to rule everyone. Whenever he wants to do it in a good or bad way. People are greed. It can be money or just power. But there will be someone that will stop them. Whenever it will be sooner or later."

Wow, I made them speechless. I better stop. No need to tell them that whole this is for someone just a game.

"So you mean even if we beat Handsome Jack there will be someone like him in the future."

"It is passable, but I don't say it will happen."

This quiet moment was cut short by Axton.

"Future enemy can wait. Sir Hammerlock wants us to investigate a big bandit camp nearby. Let's buy some ammo and go." Always on a mission.

Old hunter stopped me and schoolgirl to give me money and a gun Troublemaker. We split the money and I made her get the gun. The name suits her way better than me.

Krieg P.O.V.

Why that soldier boy makes me be on the back? (Because you can shot him too.)

We move to kill bandits and (Y/N) was the first to kill. Then others and me. A guy with a funny head was shooting from ice. (His name is Zero and he is helping too.) I am close to two girls that are with me. The blue tattoo lady is always closer to funny face guy, soldier boy, and little men. We move to that building on ice. We can't go up so we move forward. The black guy comes and talks with him. Then we hear a gunshot. I grip my buzz axe stronger. We see as the bad guys' fight with monsters and finally, we move there too. I can smash some heads. (Y/N) takes something and we go back to the ice building. Once we are up ladies go to the machine first. Then others and I am the last.

(Be calm and just press the buttons to get the shield.)

"Blood drink."

(Yes, we have health here too. Now listen choose the shield. No, don't hit the machine.)

A nice lady comes to me.

"I will help you. Press here, now here and all done. Now you need to put it on."

She buys me thing and then makes it to be on my pants.

(She put it on your belt loop. Say thank you.)

I look around and see everyone looking at us. The military men have an angry face. We move to get back to move down. I take (Y/N) hand so she stays close to me. She smiled a bit. The walk to town was slow. She comes last with a little girl. And went to look around town. They found a recording of some lady. And the nice lady says something that made everyone else quiet. The soldier boy said that we have to go to kill more bandits. Finally, we can smash.

"Blood for Blod!"
