Axton P.O.V

We gathered all our stuff and started to move forward. We went through the small bandit outpost. The same that we already took care of. Before us, Claptrap was leading the way. We stopped before the next bandit camp.

"Zero you take the place on the right on the ice. We all will get through this container." I whispered and the hunters nodded.

We get to the container and slowly moved forward. Zero took the first shot and killed the bandit on the balcony of the building. As more of them started to appear we joined the fight. It was hectic. Bullets flew past us for solid 5 minutes.

When it was finally quiet we all looked around.

"Ok. We need some ammo and supplies. Search from bottom to top." My command was simple.

Most of us searched on the ground. Gaige and (Y/N) went higher on the building.

"Guys we have some sort of chest on the next roof." I heard a new girl's voice and looked her way.

"Do you think you can jump there and bring us the loot so we can check it?"

"I think I can."

Then she whispered something to the teen and did jump. We heard mechanisms move and after a few minutes, she climbs down to us.

"I found ammo and two grenades. This Malliwan pistol and Dahl sniper rifle."

Maya took the pistol and Zero other gun.

In meantime, Claptrap stopped shaking and moved to a closed passage. This triggers another message from Handsome Jack.

"I should probably clarify--- this horse I've been talking to you about? It's not a sculpture or anything but a living horse that's actually made of --- actually I'll go get her. Butt Stallion say hello." And we hear a horse with him. "Butt stallion says hello."

"Did he seriously just echo us to say that? Like who does that?" The new woman seems to be really surprised.

"That is Jack for you. He tried to blow us on a train. You saw where we landed." That was all Maya said.

"Sorry, I still try to wrap my head around how things work here and all."

"Don't feel sorry. You have every right to be surprised and maybe even angry. I sure am. But talk with us. We are in this mess together." At for young age, the teen can say something wise.

"Come on minions follow me. Hurry up." Of course, our guide is impatient. The robot is leading us to the elevator. He himself had already del down. We made it there and Salvador pressed some button. And the elevator moved up. (Y/N) was the first to get there and took her pistols out and ready.

"We don't know what is there but we need to be prepared." She says not even looking at us.

We all stepped on the platform and moved down. Claptrap is waiting for us.

"It's Boom-Bewm! Aaahhh"

"Light the fuses bitches!" Scream someone from the very big cannon.

Maya used her power, I used my sentry.

"Eat metal death." This made me look behind me. Gaige summoned a weird robot with a claw.

I the same time giant bullet moves next to me and some force knocks me over. It hit me (Y/N) just saved me from Booms shot. She moves to stand but her hands are on either side of my head and legs over my hips.

"Try to stay focused and not die." A woman moves fast up and I can just look at her.

Psycho throws her up and she lands on the canon. She then shoots the bandit and jumps down.

Others shoot down his brother. Then we have a moment to breathe. Maya and Salvador search the area for any ammo. (Y/N), Krieg and Gaige move to the canon and Zero is standing beside me. Claptrap finally stopped shaking and wheeled to me.

"He sure said " boom" a lot. Looks like he dropped a grenade mode--- be sure to equip it."

We move closer to the blocked gate. Other hunters came to us.

"Who wants to destroy it?"

This question makes everyone look at Gaige.

"Minion is saying right one of you have to get on that cannon and shoot the gate. Then we can go and defeat Captain Flynn."

"I will do it, amigo." Salvador was fast to answer.

"Ok, Maya you, Zero, and Psycho will say on the left side. Gaige, (Y/N) and I will take place on right. Kill anyone that will get through this gate."

"Blood for blood." Others agreed with him too. He looked weird at me. Does he likes her. They sure work well together, but we all need to work with one another to defeat Handsome Jack.

"So can I shoot now?"

Gunzerkers question made me stop thinking.

"Yes, shoot the gate and anything that comes our way."

"Okay, here we go."

The noise that followed the bullet was so loud I could say that my ears would bleed. As expected when there was opened gate many bandits came our way. Gunzerker was firing from the center, we were from right, and the rest from left. It was a good strategy. And working one. After 30 or so enemies were dead we had a clear space to move on.

Others start to move forward, but I stay for a moment. This day is slowly ending. We have only bits of information about what we really have to do here. And some robot is thinking he is our master. Just fucking great. I was a military man and now look at me.

"Hey, do you feel alright?" I almost moved back. Did she come to me? But why? Is she worried or did I just make everyone stop and look at me?

"Axton do you need a break? Of so just say and we will go back to Hammerlock."

"No, I was just thinking. But thanks for your good intentions. Also, I want to thank you for saving me back there. It was brave."

"Don't mention it. We need to stay together and protect each other. Besides, we all gave our DNA to fast travel systems and Allistair help us get shields and that weird reviving system so we don't die but still it's better to not test it. Let's go." She smiles at me, takes my hand, and practically drags me to others.

"Can we go now?" Mechromancer was getting impatient. Others too I see.

"Yes, we can to that sheep, and far away from cold. Claptrap can you be kind and lead the way."

"Of course, minions follow you master."
