Finally, after three years of schooling and constant work, Asami made it to the infamous graduation day.

Asami grinned at the camera aimed at her, arms slung around the waist of Mina and Kyoka, grins decorating their faces as a flash blinded them momentarily. Family and friends gathered all around the school's yard, crying for their loved ones and celebrating a new beginning. In the distance, Asami could see the familiar tuff of blonde hair, and she immediately pries herself away from the arms of her friends.

"I'll be right back!" Asami called out, sprinting as well as you could in the high heels Hagakure had forced her in as she vaulted herself at her boyfriend. She wrapped her arms around his torso, hearing him grunt slightly at her weight before turning around to look at Asami with furrowed brows and his usual scowl. After noticing her bright expression, however, he softened.

"Hey, shitty angel face." His voice rumbled, and Asami buried her face into his chest with a silly smile still glued to her ruby lips. Asami knew he was smiling, too; she could feel it. He had been waiting for this day, too. Asami finally released him, tilting her head slightly to meet his red gaze as he stared down at Asami. The ghost of a smile haunted his face. Glancing behind his shoulder, she could see the familiar frames of his parents. His mom was wildly taking pictures of the two of them as if it were her last day on Earth.

"Look a little this way!" Mitsuki screamed out. Bakugou glowered but kept silent as he tightened his hold on her waist instead.

As the camera continued to flash, Bakugou kept his attention on Asami... He couldn't wait to give Asami her graduation gift.

"Katsuki, when can I take this damned thing off?" Asami's voice rang out as the two of them continued to walk, her boyfriend's hand warm in her own as he led Asami along to an unknown destination.

It had been after the celebration at U.A. that Bakugou had snagged Asami away, mentioning something about her "graduation gift".

Bakugou squeezed her hand as he continued to drag Asami forward. "Soon. Just stay patient, dumbass." He murmured, his deep voice soothing to her ears. He was sweating, but Asami couldn't tell if it was because of his quirk or if the famous hothead was -dare she assume- nervous.

Finally, he halted, and she accidentally ran into his back with a grunt. Asami heard him chuckle slightly, before his hold on her tightened. Yup, he was definitely nervous.

"Katsuki?" Asami's voice held an unspoken question, and she felt him grab her other hand as he faced Asami. He was hesitating, and he took a gulp of breath before speaking. "Are you ready?" He asked. His voice was a breathy whisper as he dragged his lips closer to her ear, and Asami shivered slightly.

"As ready as I'll ever be, blind and All Might-knows-where."

He didn't laugh this time, instead of resuming to hold only one of her hands as he took a few more steps, these ascending upwards before coming to a stop once more. He dropped her hand, and Asami heard him curse as he jingled a pair of keys into a door. Asami's curiosity spiked more than her nervousness. Asami kept silent as he worked and heard his gruff sound of triumph as a door opened.

"Ready?" He repeated his earlier question, leading Asami once more into a place that slightly silenced the bustle of traffic outside. He didn't give her a chance to answer, though, instead dropping her hand and disappearing behind Asami to untie her blindfold.

The first thing Asami noticed was the bright contrast of light. By the time they two had escaped from the school grounds, the sun had just been setting. Asami stood in an open hallway, plush carpet under her feet as she stared at the walls around her with wide eyes. Silent, Asami turned to Bakugou, whose eyes were as soft as the smile that graced his plush lips. Asami knew what this was and didn't even need to ask. Her heart was soaring.
