Next Day — 9:00 AM

"You guys ready?"

I adjusted my sunglasses and took a long sip of my Starbucks, letting out a satisfied sigh.

Amy nodded dramatically.

"Ready? Girl, we've been ready."

"Paris isn't ready for us,"

Anastasia added, fluffing her curls.

Michelle lifted her camera the moment we stepped onto the private runway. "I'm vlogging everything. Don't act shy now."

Stacy twirled once for the camera. "Tag me, please. I need the followers."

I laughed. "You guys are insane."

Truthfully, bringing them on this trip felt right. These were the women who held me down through fittings, rehearsals, breakdowns, last-minute calls, and long nights. If I was celebrating a major career moment, they deserved the getaway just as much.

We walked toward the private hangar, and all four of them stopped at the same time.

"Is that—"
"Oh my God—"
"Okay, Jay is not playing."
"Wow..."

Jay's jet sat on the runway like it was posing for a photoshoot—sleek, polished, and lined with a gold emblem that glimmered in the sun.

Michelle whispered, "This is giving billionaire boyfriend energy."

I rolled my eyes, smiling. "Relax."

But my stomach fluttered anyway.

As we approached the steps, Jay came down from the jet. He was dressed in black, simple but sharp, and his smile grew when he saw me. He didn't hesitate—he walked right up and pulled me into a warm, unhurried hug that I felt all the way down my spine. Then a soft kiss on my forehead.

"I missed you," he said quietly.

Behind me, the girls were losing their minds silently.

When we finally pulled apart, I gestured toward them. "Jay, these are my girls."

He gave them a polite nod. "Nice to finally meet the team behind the magic."

Amy fanned herself dramatically. "Oh, he's smooth."

"Okay, enough," I laughed. "You're embarrassing me."

Jay chuckled. "Come on. We should get settled. Chef already has breakfast set up inside."

That got everyone moving.

As we climbed the stairs into the jet, Michelle whispered to the others, "I'm telling you right now—this vlog is going to change my life."

The door closed behind us with a soft thud, and the scent of leather, fresh pastries, and cologne filled the cabin.

By 8 PM, we'd be landing in Paris.

And for the first time in a long time...
I actually felt excited for what was coming next.

Paris👨🏼‍🎨💕
9pm

By the time we arrived at Hôtel Lutetia, everyone was comfortably settled in. The lobby was breathtaking—marble floors, velvet seating, and soft golden lighting that made the space feel warm and luxurious. Every corner of the hotel radiated old-world Parisian charm, but with modern touches that made it feel effortlessly chic.

The staff greeted us like royalty, polite, attentive, and genuinely warm. I would've given them a golden star if I could. They all seemed to know Jay, chatting with him like he was a frequent guest. Clearly, this wasn't his first Paris getaway.

Our rooms were immaculate. Plush bedding, oversized windows with a view of the city, and a bathroom so fancy I almost didn't want to touch anything. The girls immediately flopped onto their beds, taking in the space like they'd moved in permanently.

We had dinner reservations that evening, but both Jay and I were too jet-lagged to even think about it. Tomorrow night would be our first proper Parisian dinner.

After a quick FaceTime with my mom to let her know we'd arrived safely, I slipped into the softest pajamas and sank into the bed. The city lights spilled in through the curtains, soft and golden, as I let out a long sigh.

Paris was beautiful. The trip had only just begun.
