6:00am
"Today is gonna be a good day."
I repeated it to myself as I swung my legs over the side of the bed.
The California sunrise painted the sky in soft golds and peaches through my glass balcony doors. Every morning, the view made me grateful for this space — peaceful, bright, and just mine.
I slipped my feet into my Chanel slippers and stretched while walking around my room. Today was going to be busy, but I felt ready. First up: a Fenty Skin photoshoot, followed by two meetings — one with Kylie, then Kim. My manager had everything lined up, and now that the day was here, I couldn't wait to get started.
Mom should be here soon to babysit Áaela. She always arrived early, ready to spoil her granddaughter. My stylist had already texted, saying she'd be here in twenty minutes with two racks of outfits — something soft and fresh for the shoot, then sleek, elevated pieces for the meetings.
I took a deep breath, letting the quiet morning settle around me. The sun, the coffee I'd make in a few minutes, the soft slippers on my feet — it all felt right.
A new day. A full schedule. Life moving forward.
7:00am
The house was buzzing. Áaela wasn't awake yet, but I knew she'd have a field day once she saw all the people running around. She loved the energy and always enjoyed being everyone's little helper.
Earlier, Aubrey had reached out to say how proud and happy he was about everything today. That was honestly the sweetest thing — it made me smile just thinking about it.
I had a busy schedule ahead: on the road by 10 a.m., meet Rihanna at 10:30, hopefully finish by noon, then Kylie Jenner at 2:30 p.m., and Kim Kardashian at 4. Breakfast was done, Mom was here to help with Áaela, and my manager had been moving nonstop since 5 a.m., making sure everything ran smoothly and keeping me updated on any changes.
I had just finished installing my wig when Mom walked in carrying Áaela. She still looked a little sleepy. I lifted her onto my lap.
"Hey, sugar,"
I whispered, gently kissing her cheek.
"Wow, you look pretty! And look who we have here,"
Mrs. Ross said, smiling warmly.
"She just got up? Good morning, sunshine!" she added to Áaela.
Within minutes, my little girl had had enough of cuddles. She bounced off my lap, ready to dive into the morning chaos and help wherever she could, eyes wide with excitement.
10:00am
"I'm gonna need something from McDonald's, please,"
I said to Mom.
"Could you let Stacey know?"
Mom laughed.
"You really can't survive a morning without fries, huh?"
"I literally can't,"
I admitted with a grin.
"I'll call her,"
she said, gathering my things.
I kissed Áaela goodbye.
"Have fun, sugar. Be a big helper for Grandma, okay?"
"I will, Mommy!"
she chirped, bouncing on her feet.
"Good luck, babe,"
