The night carries on, the two of you getting lost in the music and liveliness. The alcohol numbing reality, making you feel alive again. For Kurapika, this was the first time he had let loose in a really, really long time. Mainly because he didn't know how to.
The two of you seem to dance and sway for hours, just currently existing in a reality that would soon reach its end come morning, so you knew that you had to make the most out of it. As the noise begins to die down, you and Kurapika find your way back to the bar, the drunkest the both of you had ever been. You seem to be in a giggle fit you can't get out of as you sit down on a barstool, Kurapika doing the same.
"Ugh, I don't want to go home. I just want to go to...um...I don't know, Tokyo" You giggle, raising your head to order more liquor. Kurapika grabs your wrist and holds your arm back down on the counter.
"No more drinks tonight." He scolds gently, causing you to roll your eyes and pout a bit childishly. You slump in your seat.
"Fine... then can you just take me to like... Tokyo..." You mumble while giggling. Kurapika raises an eyebrow in slight confusion at your sudden request and chuckles softly as he pats your back. Ever since you were 12, you wanted to go to Tokyo so badly to meet your favorite singers. You had forgotten about that though... so why was it all coming up now?
"I think we should get you home first... how does that sound?" He speaks in a soft, soothing voice compared to the blaring music. "Then we can fly out to Tokyo first thing in the morning," he says, attempting to trick you into going home.
Your eyes start to flutter close as you nod, smiling stupidly, attempting to stand up only to have you crash into Kurapika's chest. He quickly catches you tightly, about to fall himself, causing his cheeks to get hot.
"Woah, you okay there?"
"I think my legs... are broken..." You giggle even more. Of course, your legs we not broken. They would be if you walked more than 5 feet in those heels while drunk. And he knew that. So, Kurapika sighs and smiles, swiftly scooping you up bridal style, causing your cheeks to get hot.
"Well, then if that's the case, I'll just have to carry you home, then. Let's go"
You smile widely and rest your head in the crook of his neck, smiling against his skin as your eyes start to get heavier and heavier, the cold winter air enveloping the two of you as he carried you home. The last thought you had was that he smelled good.

A throbbing pain in your head greets you the next morning. Once you finally start to adjust, you notice familiar footsteps make its way toward your room. Each step a blatant ring in your ear.
"You finally awake, douchebaggette?"
You sigh after being able to make out what was said when the horrible ringing subdued. You can't tell if it was a sigh of relief or disappointment. You thought it was Jess, but it was just your roommate and best friend, Killua. It would have been nice to have the comfort of a boyfriend during a hangover, but the definition of comfort when it comes to your boyfriend is nothing close to the dictionary definition.
