Chapter I- With wax wings on your back.

Pacing around the room, Korra nervously waited for the letter from Alfea. "Korra, relax," Tonraq said as he came in with mail. He shifts through it for a moment and pauses. "Dad-"

"It's here." Tonraq lifts the letter with a butterfly seal on it.

Korra hurriedly grabbed at it, taking the letter from her dad. Senna walks in as Korra opens the wax seal and unfolds the paper. Once she did, golden magic butterflies flew out. Korra swats at them instinctively, trying to read the letter.

“Dear Miss Korra Aput, congratulations! You are hereby accepted to the Alfea School for Fairies." Korra beamed at this, " I-I got in!? From this point on, a whole new world of magic opens up to you and your life will change forever! Your mind and spirit will awaken within you and you will experience the wonders and marvels of creation as never before! Classes start on the 30th of August. We trust that you will behave with the utmost responsibility and care during your stay at Alfea. Sincerely, Headmistress Faragonda." Korra finishes reading with her mouth dropped. "I-I can't believe it- I did it!"

After excitedly hugging her parents, Korra goes upstairs, “I need to pack, I need supplies, I need dorm room stuff."

A thousand miles away in Republic City, a young man named Wan sits with his mother and his little sister. "Well, open the damn letter, Wan," Kayio smirked, leaning over his shoulder.

Rolling his eyes, he does what she said and opens it. He skimmed through the letter, ignoring the magic butterflies. Wan started mumbling, “Dear Mister Wan Nami, congratulations! You are hereby accepted to the Alfea School for Fairies-"

Kayio yells in excitement before he could finish reading the rest, causing Wan to wince from having someone yell directly in his ear.

"Darling! Darling, you did it!" Ms. Nami clasped her hands in excitement. Wan smiled, "Soon the fairy of energy, yours truly will be next." Kayio smirked.

Wan hugged his mother and sister, before going to his room, “I’m gonna go pack now,”

On the opposite side of the globe, in the Northern Water Tribe. Kuruk opens the letter in the middle of walking home from getting mail.

“Dear Mister Kuruk Alaku, congratulations! You’re hereby accepted to the Alfea School of Fairies.” After reading that, Kuruk stops in his tracks trying to process the information before quickly running home, excited to tell his parents the news and wanting to pack.

Meanwhile, in a small village in the Earth Kingdom, Kyoshi sighed, "I can't believe that I applied to the most prestigious school in the magical dimension when I just found out about my magic only a month ago."

Kelsang just smiled at this, “This will probably be a good way to practice your magic and get better at it.” he said, before taking a sip of his tea. He slides out the letter from his pockets and gently puts it down near her. "Whenever you're ready, Kyoshi."
