Chapter 1: New Life

Y/n had awoken to darkness. Once he woke up he immediately gasped for air while holding his neck with one hand and his stomach in the other. His eyes went wide knowing he was still alive. After he calmed down he looked around only to find darkness. "Where am I..?" He questioned quietly. Of course, he'd be confused why wouldn't he. Last he remembered he died by burning and suffocating but now, he's completely fine.

"Don't worry about where you are. Just know that you'll be given a second chance at life." A voice said. The voice startled him. He frantically looked around but could still only see darkness.

"Oh don't bother trying to look for me I'm not there. In fact, I'm not even alive." The voice once again spoke. At this point, y/n was freaking out but he wasn't going to say anything because if this is where he'll be and that voice controls where he goes he'd rather not question it.

"Okay so here's how it'll go. I'm gonna give you a second chance at life buuuuut, you can't go back to your world." The high-pitched voice said and dragged out the but. Y/n was again confused on why he couldn't go back. If he was getting a second chance at life how would he do that if you can't go back to his world? What other world is there?

"Wait but, you said I get a second chance. If I can't go back to my world where will I be going?" The boy asked the voice.

"Oh that. Don't worry about it I just need to know a few things before I send you there." Y/n nodded. "First question. What would you like your last name to be? Uzumaki, Nara, Uchiha, Harano, Hyuuga, or l/n. And just a little warning I don't think you wanna choose Uchiha haha." At the options giving and the warning, it didn't take long for the boy to answer.

"I choose l/n." He said with no hesitation mostly since out of all of them he only remembered the last one.

"Okay great! Now question number 2. Would you like a dōjutsu?" The voice asked. This time y/n was really confused as to what a 'dōjutsu' was.

"Um sure I guess." He answered still confused but the whole situation he was in was confusing too.

"Okay great! Now for the final question. What would you like your affinity to be? There's water, earth, fire, wind, and lightning. You can only choose one though since you already come with one by choosing the last name l/n." Y/n thought about this. He already knew fire was a no-go. He hated fire now. That's what took his life, what took him away from his parents. Earth and wind seem like a lot of work so that's a no.

"I'll go with lightning." Was his final answer. Why not water? Well, he figured that if he chose water then it would be better for him to be by places with water and that's a lot of work in itself.

"Well if that's what you want. See you on the other side, y/n." The voice got quieter as it spoke. Suddenly a bright blinding light disrupted y/n's vision until all he could see was white.

A (s/c) baby had just been born but instead of crying like all baby's do this one was silent. The doctors had decided to run a quick test on him but found nothing wrong with him so they gave him back to the parents.

The doctor put the baby in the mother's hands. "Awe my cute little y/n. He looks just like you." A dark-haired woman named m/n l/n said looking at her newborn baby.

"Yes, he does. Except half of his hair is (h/c) and the other half is white like mine." A man whose hair is as white as snow said. The baby's eyes open at hearing the talking of his parents.
