We were walking home from school, when a silver car pulled up beside us. It was Jake. I knew it was him. He got out, opened the passenger door and slyly got back in the car. "Need a ride?" he asks. "No we're fine, but thank you." I reply, still walking. "Tomas, can't you loosen your sister up?" Jake says. Sofia stays and chats with Jake, while Tomas and Emilio jogs to catch up with me. "Can't you just go with him this once?" Tomas asks. "No. I'm not going to ditch you guys." I respond. "Come on. You wouldn't be ditching us. We will be just fine." says Emilio. "I don't know." I'm really unsure. It isn't just because I'd be leaving them alone. Emilio and Tomas are seniors and are both strong boys. They could take care of Sofia and each other just fine. It's just I don't know how safe I'd be with Jake. "Go on." They both pled. "Go have some fun." "Alright. Please tell mom and dad where I am though." I say. I get into the car and as soon as I do I regret it. I can smell alcohol all over Jake and his breath.
