Shouta smiled triumphantly at the doctor. Shouta had managed to get the hospital to release Izuku today. There was really nothing else they could do about Izuku's condition except have him rest and make sure he eats. Yet the doctors still wanted him to stay so they could monitor him. But Shouta had put his foot down. Izuku was coming home with Mic and him. He would be able to watch Izuku better, he had heard from the nurses that without fail they found him in the corner of the room every morning watching the room.
Izuku was feeling a little better Mic was across the bed from him and was showing him how to play a card game. The strange nurses had come again but they didn't do anything other than check his IV drips. He still didn't trust them who knew what they were doing. Not to mention the fact that they seemed very familiar as well.
"So, now that you have all the cards lined up you follow their number value." Mic said breaking Izuku from his train of thought. Izuku nodded and pointed to a card then another one to signify that the card should be moved there.
Mic smiled widely "Yeah that's it" Mic then allowed Izuku to move the cards on his own and play by himself. Izuku picked up the game quickly and was good at it as well. Mic was impressed if Izuku learned this fast with a card game how fast would he learn if Mic and Shouta could teach him more consecutively and at a pace matched with Izuku's learning speed.
The card game reminded Izuku of the games he would sometimes play in his head with matching things up and organizing stuff in his head. When he was left alone in the metal table room with all the equipment that's what Izuku did when he was scared. It helped him calm down. So, when Izuku finished the game quickly Mic was surprised but helped him set the game up again. The door opened and Izuku looked up eyes a little wide and backed up a little. But calmed down when he saw Shouta.
Shouta smiles softly seeing Izuku playing cards. "Good new Izuku, you get to leave the hospital today" Mic smiled widely.
"Are they letting him come home with us?" Mic said smiling. Shouta nodded.
Izuku was scared they are going to take him out of the room? Where they going to hurt him and cut him open. That's what happened when they took him out of the other room. They wouldn't do that do him would they?
"You are going to like our house little listener" Mic said smiling warmly at Izuku noticing how he was getting uncomfortable. "We have some cats, and you'll get your own room." Mic said happily
Izuku nodded slowly, his nerves getting the best of him. He wanted to crawl into the corner of the room and hide in the blankets he had received. But he trusted Mic and Shouta a little so he wouldn't be bad for them.
Shouta frowned at Izuku's face. He knew that this would be a huge step for the kid. He knew that Izuku had gotten comfortable with the hospital room even if he still was uneasy about it. Not to mention this was the only other place the boy had probably been other than the place they had found him at. So, they would probably need to start introducing him to new people and places slowly to help his mental state.
"We will be with you the whole time, so you don't have to worry about you being alone." Mic said reassuringly and reached out to give Izuku a hug.
Izuku tensed up and backed up a little. As soon as he moved Mic stopped and baked up giving Izuku space. Shouta frowns and bent down to Izuku's level.
"Hey, its ok we won't hurt you. No one will hurt you when you with us." Shouta said in a soft voice looking at Izuku.
Izuku looked into Shouta's eyes but didn't see anything like they wanted to cause him pain or hurt him. Izuku nodded and calmed down a little. Pulling the blanket around him he looked around unsure.
