As night dawned over all of Milan, I got up from the couch, and walked into the closet to pull out a black trench coat on over my shirt.
"Livi do you want to join me for a late night walk?" I ask leaning in the doorway.
"Am I allowed to get out of comfy pants" Olivia asks.
"That shouldn't be a question bellissima" I say walking away towards the front door.
When Olivia walks over to where I am she's changed, into something more suited to the weather outside, and low heels.
"You look very formal as expected so why not wear heels" Olivia says and I notice the red bottoms.
"Are you wearing Louboutin heels?".
"I may have bought them when you weren't paying attention".
"That's fair, they suit you" I say opening the door, and walking out, followed by Olivia.
"Thanks" she says smiling over at me, before we, for once took the stairs down to the foyer.
Passing the car I mentally made a map of Milan, and walked off towards the left.
"Milan is so pretty at night" Olivia muses.
"It is but I have the most beautiful thing in the world right beside me" I say and she blushes.
"I'm a thing now" she prys jokingly.
"Technically everything is including people".
"What place do you think is the prettiest in Milan?" Olivia asks.
"I could tell you, or I could show you" I reply with a smirk.
"Show" she says.
"Then I will take you but I'm enjoying the walk first" I say taking her hand in mine, as we walk through the streets of Milan.
Despite having been to the city on a few occasions I took the time to observe every part of it, the buildings, the people, the birds that were resting on roofs, along with the few streets with strung up fairy lights.
After a while we got to this staircase that went up to a rooftop restaurant.
As we got to the top, I looked at the dozen tables with people at them, being waited on by black sharply dressed staff members.
"Welcome Adrian" a familiar voice greets and I turn to see me brown haired aunt walking towards me.
"Aunt Lucia" I say.
"And who is this?" Aunt Lucia asks.
"This is my girlfriend Olivia Thorne" I reply, gesturing to her.
"She's very pretty, I can see why you like her".
"There's a lot more then that, she asked for what I would call the prettiest place in Milan it's here especially with a view like that" I say pointing to the view of the old Italian city over the rooftops.
"Should I get you two a table?" Aunt Lucia asks.
"Bellissima?" I muse, and I can see my aunt smile knowing what the nickname meant.
"Yes please" Olivia says, before my aunt nods and leads us away to a table near the railing.
I then pull out a chair for Olivia before pushing her in, and walking around to my side of the table.
"What can I start you two off with?".
"Could I have mango lemonade" Olivia asks.
"I'll also have one thanks" I say taking my menu and not even opening it.
