Hinata also ran towards the school in the afternoon.
He had just heard about what happened, told to him through the phone, but he didn't know exactly what the hell happened to Sato and Natsumi.
So he went towards the closed Reserve Course building hoping to get some answers, at least from the guard that was usually there.
But when he arrived his eyes widened as he saw his Junior, Sayaka, getting stepped on by a large green-haired man.
He was about to intervene until he heard their conversation.
-----
"Of course my words matter! They were my-ugh!" the boot pressed harder, thoroughly cutting Sayaka off from the sharp pain that was now starting to bloom on the shoulder.
"Shut up already. You can just go home right now and forget about it, or I can go ahead and report you for breaking and entering myself." he said, his eyes narrowing at Sayaka trying to resist.
Soon enough, Sayaka laid limp. With this he retracted his boot and stepped back from her.
Sayaka gritted her teeth and balled her fists harder. I hate this.
They're making the people believe all those stupid lies, but even if I had only been told I know it's not possible that some school shooter just went and slaughtered my class. And Sato and Natsumi...
But right as he was about to walk away and towards the closed off building, the girl suddenly stood up.
I need the damn truth!
He didn't notice before but supposedly from his punch on her abdomen she had a small blood trail from the corner of her mouth.
His frown deepened as she tried to stand up straight again, clutching her shoulder that was stepped on.
She had a frown of her own, and her eyes were wide with anger.
"Don't tell me that when you yourself won't tell me the truth!" she yelled, and the man groaned in annoyance of the girl.
He turned around again.
"You're only hiding this from me because you don't want me to know all the corrupt things Hope's Peak's done!" she continued harshly, not bothering to lower her voice as the guard behind him started to sweat.
The man only stared at her as she started to pant. She retracted her hand from her shoulder and openly growled out the words: "And it's probably not only me."
The man started to doubt the kid now. He could always just throw her out, but he didn't, and will not yet.
But he could. Right now.
But instead he continued to stare at her.
"You're-you're probably brainwashed too, aren't you? By-by the school, and all the other Ultimates, too! You're all brainwashed, aren't you!?" she shouted. The man cringed at the stupid idea.
You really don't have any idea, do you, kid... The man thought to himself in disdain.
"I know you've been hiding things from the students!" she continued again. The man only listened.
"I know for damn sure there was no school shooter!"
"The school had high security, even in the Reserve Course, so there's no way someone could've broken in or brought any weapon!" the guard at the back watched nervously the scene unfold.
"And I've seen your face when your two friends hung out together without you."
The man's eyes widened.
