Makoto walked around the halls like usual. But today, he had more free-time because their teacher was absent due to a party the night before. I think he was hungover.

They all didn't really mind coming into class without lessons. It's actually pretty fun without a teacher. But Taka never really quiets down without them...

Makoto only laughed at himself at that. His Classmates can be really funny at times.

But lately Junko had been acting suspiciously excited.

It looked genuine, Makoto's not going to lie. And Mukuro looked extra supressed. Like she wanted to say something but can't.

Not to mention she had been ignoring him for a while. Maybe Enoshima-san told her to stay away from me again.

Makoto's ahoge wiggled. But why? Enoshima-san's never liked me, but why? I've only ever been nice to her.

Even though he was thinking like this most of the time he was making sure to be alert outside in the school halls.

It had only been four months since the Reserve Course incident and then now the whole of the Main Course Student Council was slaughtered in their office by another stranger. Or ws it a stranger? The Staff were very vague.

Suddenly Makoto bumped into someone while he was deep into his thoughts. So much for being alert... Kirigiri-san wouldn't approve of this.

He dropped all the paper he was carrying and he swiftly bent down to take them back.

"Uh–I'm sorry for bumping into you! I wasn't looking ahead," Makoto slightly stuttered as he went and continued to pick up the messy papers scattered all over the white floor.

He expected the person to say something, react, or at least help out, but instead they just stood there, unmoving, almost like a mannequin.

Makoto looked at their shoes for a moment and he saw that whoever they were they were wearing black formal shoes, like the ones you use to pair with work suits or tuxedos.

He didn't talk any longer as he finished picking up the paper, piled them back on his arms again, and he looked up at whoever it was he bumped with.

He froze. It was a girl, who looked familiar, yet not so. Behind her was really long, flowing hair.

And she had glowing red eyes.

Makoto stumbled back, but instead he found himself running away.

He didn't know why but something about that guy–girl, creeped him out. He ran fast and without noticing again he bumped with someone else.

He looked up quickly this time, not losing his grip on the papers, and saw at least three people in lab coats and another two guys who had gear that can match the SWAT's.

Makoto's eyes widened as they all stared down at him.

A guy emerged from all of them. He was also in a lab coat and he towered over Makoto.

"Hello, young man," he greeted as politely as he could. His voice sounds cold.

Makoto gulped, but smiled anyway. "Um... Yes, sir?" he asked, his smile slightly faltering at the intimidation the men were oozing.

The other one beside the one that approached him cleared his throat. "Have you seen a person with black, long hair and red eyes?" he asked.

Makoto froze even more. "E-eh...?"

That reaction elicited something from the three men in lab coats as they all looked at each other.

The other one turned back to look at Makoto, "So you did? Where is she now?" he asked, and Makoto gulped again, his ahoge faltering with him.

"Um... From where I came from... She was..."

"You two! Charge right in!" one of the three men shouted and the geared men rushed to where Makoto was.

"Thank you, young man. And, don't speak of this." he said, saying the last part darkly.

Makoto nodded hesitantly before all three of them followed the feared men.

Makoto watched as they all rushed towards the hall where Makoto had once came from.

What was that?

Hinata was thoroughly surprised when he heard about the Main Course Student Council slaughter.

What could've happened? Who could've done it?

Could it have been the same one who killed off Class B...? Sato and Natsumi?

He shook his head. No way. They could've at least tightened their security.

Hope's Peak isn't Hope's Peak for nothing. Shouldn't they be knowing? Aware? Surely they tightened their security...

...

"Surely..." Hinata uttered. He wouldn't make or let himself believe that Hope's Peak had not been thorough with both their investigation, and security.

A home for the gifted is the home for the gifted for a reason.

...right?

Hinata sighed. He knew that Chiaki was a representative. Hopefully she was fine.

Hopefully Nanami-san is okay.

Hinata couldn't bear losing another friend.

Sayaka still did not come to school, and even when he asked the principal he said that she had dropped out.

But Maizono-san wouldn't just drop out. I may not have known her for a long time but I know she isn't the type to do that.

He rubbed his eyes. Sato, Natsumi and Maizono were enough. I wouldn't allow Chiaki to go with them, too.

I can't lose more than I have now. I can't...

Hinata decided to wait. Even if Sato and Natsumi are clearly dead, I know Maizono isn't.

He laid his head on his arms, lying them both on his desk as his ahoge clearly deflated.

Maizono Sayaka can't be dead...
