I Wish~~ Chapter 5

-Niall's POV-

I seriously want to punch this guy, Ems told me how she heard another girl on the line when she called Dean, I wasn't surprised, but I felt bad for her, even though she was ending it.

-Emily's POV-

I took Niall's hand as soon as I saw Dean, Niall made me feel safe, I knew I could trust him with anything.

"hey Emily? Can I speak to you... alone?" Dean gestured towards Niall.

"well I don't really want to speak to you, but if you so desperatly need to talk to me, you can talk in front of Niall." I spat at him, he was disgusting. I can't believe he thought I'd want to talk to him again. After that phone call. I knew he was cheating on me. I just didn't want to believe it, but seeing him with this girl, it suddenly made it all real.

"no I need to talk to you alone." he insisted.

"NO! Dean, if you need to talk to me Niall can hear it, and if you can't talk in front of him, get lost." I was disgusted with him, really what does he so desperately need to say to me that Niall can't hear, it's not like I wouldn't tell him anyway.

"fine. I just wanted to let you know that the girl on the phone, she's my cousin, I wasn't cheating on you." Dean was a liar. What the hell. He really thinks I care about that?

"oh thank god I thought you were a cheating douche bag, good thing you told me your not, I'll be sure to let everybody know" I said sarcastically and Niall smirked. Dean looked really embarrassed. Haha too bad.

"Emily I'm serious. Why can't you just listen to me. Hear me out?" he asked.

"Dean I didn't break up with you because you were cheating on me -i didnt even know you were until this morning anyways {i had a feeling but i wasnt sure}- I broke up with you because your not right for me. Get over it and move on" I felt really powerful, like I was the queen of the world. And if Niall wasn't there, I would have caved. There was something about us, like whenever we were together we were unstoppable. We could accomplish anything. There was something about Niall, something about him I just noticed, we made a good team, maybe we won't damage our friendship... But why take the chance were good where we are now.

-Niall's POV-

Ems was strong, she wasn't going to lose to Dean, something came over her, she was definitely over Dean, maybe I would have a shot with her. I've just got to find out what was keeping her from being with me before, it defenetly wasn't Dean, even if they were dating, it was something else. I just know it. And they way she held my hand, even after Dean left, she felt it too, when we kissed. maybe she still does, I'll have to ask her about that later.
