Beauty lies in the Soul.
Her beauty was in the way she could smile;
When life had shattered to pieces before her eyes!
Or the extra mile she was willing to go;
For those she loved, in spite of the lies.
In the way she would yet wear those ragged clothes;
And feed the hungry child across the lane.
Or when she was always there to wipe your tears;
Even if you never stood by in her pain.
But yet what you could only see;
Were the dirty boots covering her torn sole!
Could you ever open your eyes enough?
To see those sparkling eyes reflecting the kindest soul.
