Aether was a puppet, and the voice was the puppeteer.

He had a feeling that he knew who this person was.

No having any control, he let him do what he wanted.

Now concentrating on what was happening outside of his thoughts, he realised had approached Xiao who was seated not far away.

He approached Xiao in a very casual manner, noticing that he did not look like he was in a good mood. The adeptus face looked dull, sad, and worried.

Aether had sat down slowly next to him not wanting to surprise him. Xiao looked up at him and looked at his hand straight away, remembering the familiar face from that night.

"Hello,"

Aether spoke kindly,

"Are you alright?"

Xiao was little taken back as no one had ever really asked him that question, often just thanking him for completing a task or saving the victims from a situation.

"I'm ok,"

"Are you sure?"

"Yes,"

"You look distressed,"

Xiao heaved and shifted himself. He eyed him suspiciously. Why is Aether asking him these questions? He had treated him like absolute shit yet he was repaying him with kindness?

"Well, I don't know how to be a good brother,"

He whispered,

"Well, you pointed out the obvious. [ Y/N ] always tells me how badly you treat them and how they hate your guts. I wanted to let you know that,"

Xiao was shocked, but it was the harsh truth he needed to hear.

Aether however,  yelled hysterically from inside.

"Stop destroying their relationship, why are you doing this,"

Then the next sentence that left his mouth absolutely confused him.

"[ Y/N ] possesses the same ability as me, they can control the elements too,"

Aether was baffled, how did this person also know this piece of information?

Xiao's facial expression was difficult to read. He didn't seem surprised but concerned. He tapped his chin and thought hard. It seemed as if he was trying to figure out what to say next.

"How long have you known for?" He asked.

"Only for about a week,"

"I am speechless, I really don't know what to say,"
