"Hey George?" Dream whispered, looking at me instead of the sky above us.
I took a glance at the boy right next to me laying on the dark green grass. He moved the brown hair off my face with his slightly earthy hand, He then cupped my face and rubbed my cheek gently with his thumb. "Do you keep the flowers?" He whispered again but this time his voice was quieter, rather admiring. "The ones you drop every time you walk past my house?" George asked, exhaling right after. Dream had a habit of leaving George flowers every time he passes by his lover's house, just to let him know he had been there.
"Yes, how could i throw such beautiful flowers away?"

Well George wished he would have thrown those bloody flowers away before he was left all alone. A long before he woke up to the realisation his lover had been locked away from everyone and everything. Even George. He remembers that night clearly, How he had woken up to the loud sounds of celebration. He had gotten out of bed just to open the mushroom printed curtains so he could take a look outside to the rather pretty view of so many lights sparking around the people, air filled with Joy. What on earth was going on? Sure they celebrated birthday's and weddings constantly, but usually the king was invited to the celebration

He ran past his cat to the door, opening it in hurry, as if he had somewhere to be in the next five minutes. He continued running until he reached the first person he was close with, Puffy. George's loud footsteps made her turn her head to face the man with tear filled eyes, her hair slightly moving with the gentle spring breeze. George approached Puffy, wrapping the platinum blonde into his arms. "Puffy?" His shirt started getting wet from all the tears her eyes let out as she sobbed into his shoulder, George rubbed soothing circles onto her back with his hand in slow motions. He pushed puffy away by her shoulders to ask her an important question he had secretly been craving an answer to for the last five minutes "What happened?" He asked, eyebrows frown and eyes full or sadness and worry.

"Dream-" She was struggling to say it, her voice sounded broken, and to be honest, she didn't look any better. "P-Puffy it's okay take your time." George was fighting back tears, something was clearly wrong with his beloved husband, and he knew it. He just didn't want to accept it just yet. He needed to know what was going on first.

"He's in prison"
There it was, the information George had been craving for. The built up tears started falling down his cheeks almost immediately. With His knowledge of words he couldn't describe what he was feeling in just one word. He was feeling Sad, confused, angry. Angry with who exactly? That was a tricky question, George himself wasn't sure.

George took a look at the dried cornflowers from the day he had left to the unescapable prison. From what he has heard from Puffy, her son had been tortured to the point it was surprising he was still alive. George could never visit his lover in prison, he doesn't want to see it.

George used to hear a signature knock of his lover's coming from the door occasionally. Usually Dream wasn't there to stay, and just wanted to hug and kiss his lover every once in a while among all the work he was busy doing. But the other times, he was there to stay. Sometimes they would just lay together in Their shared bed, The brunettes face nuzzled in Dream's chest, legs tangled together and hand in hand. They would share little kisses ever so often, which sometimes even lead to something that's socially unacceptable to talk about.

"Dream?" George mumbled against Dreams green knitted sweater he had gotten from Puffy for his birthday. It had little white hearts on it, which George assumed puffy had worked hard on. Later that same year George had gotten a matching one, it was a tradition amongst them that had survived through all their lives. "Yes, Love?" Dream answered back at the sleepy Boy that was laying under the blue blanket, face nuzzled against his lover's chest. "Is it okay, if i fall asleep now?" George murmured as Dream ran his fingers through his boyfriend's brown locks. "Only, if you kiss me good night." George looked up and let his lover kiss him, smiling as he felt those same fireworks explode inside of him as his heartbeat increased. George fell asleep to Dream's calm breathing and his fast pulse.

George often looked back to these such beautiful but painful memories, It gave George some sort of comfort while laying on his bed on a dark night, cuddling a pillow, not so secretly wishing it was Dream. He still hasn't grown to accept the reality of the man he had married. He couldn't possibly let himself believe someone so kind, sweet and funny could have done something that had traumatised many.

Puffy, as Dream's mother, isn't doing much better. The sight of his son in a boiling hot cell with several infected wounds and other injuries, such as third degree burns and a black eye didn't do anything good to the poor woman. George had one way or another found out, that the one doing that to his lover was in fact, one of his best friend's fiancés, He couldn't be able to speak to Sapnap anymore, He felt betrayed, his best friend let his fiancé torture Dream. Even though all of George's lover's actions led to the brunette feeling like a complete shit, people are still blamed George of all the things could have been avoided if he had done something instead of closing his eyes always when something bad happened. He wanted to be blind to it, blind to all the horrifying things his boyfriend had done, So he started dreaming. Dreaming as in impulsive sleeping, which led to him struggling with the most ordinary things a person should do. Sooner or later the line of reality had blurred in George's eyes. Some thought he had gone insane since he never stepped out of his house. Strangely, this proposition hadn't been denied by anyone but Puffy and Niki, who kindly delivered George freshly baked Bread every other week.

After a few months of sleeping 70% of the day He had met Dream XD, who didn't seem to warm up to anyone other than George, who the God had an unhealthy obsession with. George actually doesn't know if the man exists, but his presence is enough for him, since A working temporary solution to All the affection George had been graving from Dream was some kind of a godly brother of his, who would visit him occasionally, usually a few times a week.
