It It was raining outside that night. Heavy raindrops were on pounding against the window of the guest room. I stared at the vai Gerudo suit on the bathroom door. Though it no longer smelled of Link, it was still his. So I was planning on washing it and giving it back to him once we got back to Hyrule.

There was a knock on the door. I groaned. My encounter with Zelda was enough today. So this time, instead of saying 'come in,' I went to the door so that way I could slam the door in her face if she came back.

To my surprise, when I opened the door, it was Link. "Hey, Y/N. I heard a bunch of yelling. Wanted to see if you were ok?" He said, with a warm smile on his face. "A bit late for that," I huffed. "But, if you want to know, Zelda was trying to make me feel sorry for her again." Link made an annoyed face and said, "sorry. Probably shouldn't have done it here..."

"It's fine, I kicked her out." Link laughed. I noticed Link was standing out in the hall, and I decided to let him inside. "Thanks." He smiled.

I plopped down in my bed, "No problem." He looked around and spotted the Gerudo suit. "You can keep that." He said suddenly, pointing at it. I looked to see what he was talking about, "No. It's yours."

"Yes, and I as the owner, am making you the new owner." He chuckled. I sighed, "no." He frowned at me and also laid down in the bed next to me. "I'll get you someday, Y/N Hyrule." He said, in a sing-song voice. I huffed.

We turned to look at each other while laying down. I looked in his blue crystal eyes, and he stared into my (E/C) eyes. I felt butterflies fluttered in my stomach, but I didn't dare look away. His eyes added so much more to him than one would expect. We were suddenly closed and I closed my eyes. I leaned in.

Then there was a knock on the door. 'Again?' I thought to myself. Link got off the bed. He was flustered, but he went over to get the door anyway. It was like ten o'clock, so why was anyone, besides us, awake? It turned out to be Zelda. She gave Link a weak and sad smile. Link returned it, of course. "Um...can I speak to Y/N in private please?" She asked. Link looked at me, and I nodded. He stepped out of the way and let Zelda come in. Then he left, closing the door behind him.

"What do you want?"

"Oh my God! Y/N! He is so into you!" I became flustered. "What?! What are you talking about?"

"The way he looks at you. Everything. He had a crush on you when we were little." I sighed. "What the heck do you want, Zelda?"

She sat down on the bed. "I'm sorry, Y/N." I laughed, now she was sorry? After she just tried to manipulate me. "Your funny," I said, getting off the bed and walking towards the door. "Y/N. I'm sorry!"

"Sorry? 'Sorry isn't going to cut it this time, Princess."

"I understand. If you won't forgive me, I'll find a way so that you can. I'll be a better sister, better Princess better everything." She smiled. "But maybe you and Link will be together by then." She said, I rolled my eyes.

"Maybe..." I said, considering it. "Or, maybe never."

"Well, I'm rooting for you, sister." She genuinely smiled. She had left me dumbfounded.

'Maybe...never.'
