Chapter 18

Gia's P.O.V:

Around 9:00 August dropped me off at home, but he decided to walk me to the door. Why? I don't know, but it was a sweet thing to do. "Thank you for taking me out ... Again. I had a great time."I said to him. I literally spent the whole day with him. I didn't mind though. August smiled and played with my hair. "No problem,mama. I love being with you. The past two days with you have been honestly the best days I've ever had."August tells me. I tried not to blush. "Aw, August."I said, reaching over towards him and gently messaged his face.
As I'm rubbing his face, he gently takes my hand and kisses it. I literally thought my heart was about to jump out of my chest. "Ima get goin."He tells me. "Okay, Aug."I said. Gimme a hug."He says. I lean in and wrap my arms around his neck and he wrapped his around my waist. Then he picked me up. "Goodnight beautiful."He says. "Goodnight,Aug."I called out. He was walking back to his car. "I'll call you later,aight?" He said. I smiled. "Okay !!" I said. I unlocked the door and went inside my house. Then I heard August's car drive off. Today was amazing.
I took a shower and was in there for about 5 minutes. Then I got out and wrapped a towel around me. I checked my phone and it was almost 9:30. Anyway, I got dressed in a grey Nike crop top and some black short shorts. Then, I braided my hair into two corn rows. I rubbed lotion on my legs and my stomach. I put my socks on and rubbed moisturizer on my face. Brah, I take my hygiene seriously. Especially, when I'm about to go to bed. After I moisturized my face, I went back into my bed room and got back in my comfy queen sized bed. My phone rang. When I checked the caller ID, it said that August wanted to FaceTime.
My heart almost dropped. I put my earphones in and then I pressed "Answer". When I accepted the call, August Appeared on the screen, shirtless. Jesus Christ.. He was laying in bed all comfy. "Hey,beautiful."He said. He did this shit on purpose. "Hey,Aug."I said,probably smiling like a fool. He smiled. "What chu' doin, Shawty ?" He asked me. I smiled. "Nothing. I just got out of the shower."I said. August looked at me and smiled. "Without me ?" He said. I giggled. "Nah, I'm playing. I'm not those thirsty ass niggas that be commenting on ya Instagram pictures."August says. I laughed once again. "What does that have to do with you wanting to be in the shower with me ?" I wanted to know. August smiled an evil grin. "Girl, don't play. You know you got niggas that be commenting on your photos."He said. I made a face. "But you ain't answer my question, though." I said. "Aight. Remember that photo you posted of ya legs in the bath tub ?" He asked me. I covered my face and started laughing. "Oh my goodness, you saw that ?" I asked. "Yeaah,baby. I was like damn Shawty bad !!" August says. I laughed at him. "You're so silly." I said. "And you're beautiful."August says. I smiled once again. "Thank you."I said. Aug smiled at me. "Ooh, before I forget. I have a photo shoot tomorrow at 12 and I need you in my life .... I mean I need you there to make me look good." August says. I giggled. He ain't slick. "Okaay, of course I'll be there." I said. "You made my night,girl."He says. "Aighhh,look I'm really tired. I'ma go to bed now."August says to me. I smiled. "Goodnight, Aug."I said. "Goodnight, Beautiful."He says. I ended the FaceTime call. Today was the best day. I have a feeling that Aug might ask me to be his girlfriend soon.
