*Gia's P.O.V*
~1 Week Later~
"You need to let me see that ring!" Arielle squeals through the phone. I made a face. "Can you not be so loud? I'm right here!" I say to her. She sucked her teeth. "Whatever. I'm just excited that my best friend is getting fucking married!!" She says,screaming some more.
It was a Saturday afternoon, a week after the baby shower and I was in the bedroom, folding laundry and talking to Arielle on the phone. August ran to the store. I smiled. "I know. I'm gonna be a mother and a wife. It's all happening so fast!" I admit. "How do you feel?" My best friend questioned.
"Amazing!" I answered. "I love seeing you happy. You deserve it!" Arielle says. "Thank you so much,babe. I love you!" "I love you,more!" Ari says. "Let me finish folding this laundry. I'll talk to you later." I said. "Alright,babe. Talk to you soon." "Alright,bye." I say. Then, I hang up the phone.
About 20 minutes later, I hear the door downstairs open. "I'm home!!" August shouts. I didn't really feel like yelling, so I sent him a text. "I'm in the bedroom babe."
August walks in the room 10 minutes later. "Hey,baby! Why'd you text me?" He says,making his way over to the bed. I grinned and kissed his lips. "I didn't feel like shouting. Plus, yelling makes me tired." I said. "My poor pregnant mamas! How you feeling today?" Aug said,rubbing my belly.
"Pretty good,actually. I laughed so hard earlier that I peed my pants." I say. August made a face. "And you're happy about that?!" He said. "Listen, I have a growing human being pressing on my bladder. Don't judge me." I said. Aug laughed and sat next to me on the bed. "You right." He says. "Where did you go?" I wanted to know. "I went to Babies R Us. Got some stuff for the baby." He tells me. "Aw,baby you're so sweet! Already such a good daddy. We're so lucky to have you." I said. August smiled. "Anything for my girls!" He says,reaching over to rub my belly. "We love you!" I said, putting my hand over his. "I love y'all more." Aug says.
As I stare at August I can't help but smile from ear to ear. I was so happy with everything that was going on in my life. I'm getting married to the love of my life and we're having a baby. My heart was so full.
