Chapter 44

*Gia's P.O.V*

"This is too cute!" Arielle says, holding up a tiny pink faux fur vest. I looked at it and my eyes lit up. "That is adorable. How much is it?" I wanted to know. My best friend looked at the price tag. "Um... $30.00." "That's actually not bad! Let's get it." I said.
It was another beautiful Saturday afternoon and Arielle and I were at the mall,shopping. We've been out since 11 this morning. It was now 3:00.We got our nails and toes done and now we were just shopping for some cute things for baby Sky. August wanted me out the house because he was working on a surprise for me.
We made our way to the register to pay for all the stuff we got. Honestly,we got so much stuff I was so excited. After we purchased our things, we left the store. "So where are we going next?" Ari asked. "I'm actually ready to go. My feet hurt." I said,rubbing my belly. "Okay,girl me too." She says.

*August's P.O.V*

"Hey baby, you on your way home?" I said into the phone. "Oh, now you want me to come home? After you done kicked me out this morning?" Gia says. I laughed and leaned against the bedroom wall. "Come on, you know I had to get you out the house for what I'm about to do for you. You gonna love it,mama." I assured her. I heard her sigh over the phone. "I hope so,baby." She says. I smiled. "Don't worry. I promise." I said to her. "Okay. I'm on my way home now. I'll be home in like 20 minutes." Gi tells me.
"Perfect. Aight,baby I'll see you soon." I said. "Okay,babe. Love you." She says. "I love you,too, mamas." I say. Then I hung up the phone. I was so excited to see the look on Gia's face once she sees what I did for her.
I went into the bathroom and hoped in the shower. About 10 minutes later, I got out and headed to the bedroom. Once I did what I had to do, I finally got dressed. Nothing too fancy though. Just a crisp white t-shirt and jeans. Everything was ready so I just sat and waited for my baby to get home.

~ Gia's P.O.V ~

"Thanks for getting me out the house today,girl. I appreciate it." I say, climbing out of Arielle's car. She grinned. "Love you,mama. Call me later." She tells me. "I will." I said. Arielle noticed me struggle getting out of the car. So, she got out and helped me. "Here, I got you, mama." She said, taking some of my shopping bags. "Thank you!" I said, finally able to get out of the car. Ari helped me and walked with me to the door. I unlocked the door and walked inside. Arielle put my bags on the floor and gave me a hug. "Like I said, call me later okay? I love you." She says. "I love you too!" I said. Then, she left.
I struggled to bend over to grab my bags. As I was grabbing the shopping bags, I noticed red rose petals on the marble floor. "What is this man up to?" I said to myself. I took off my sandals and followed the trail of roses. It lead to our bedroom. I opened the door and saw rose petals on our king sized bed. My jaw dropped to the floor.
"Hey there, baby mama." August says from behind me. I turn around to see him leaning against the wall, just staring at me. I swear if I wasn't already pregnant I'd let him get me pregnant again. This man was so fine, sometimes I still couldn't believe he was all mine. I grin as he walks closer towards me.
"Hi,baby! So this was my surprise?" I asked. August wrapped his arms around my waist and kissed my forehead. "This is only the first part,my love." He tells me. "So, there's more?" I said. He laughs. "You'll see." He says.
