Wilhelmina's POV

After explaining my conversation with Mutt to y/n, she started to laugh and slowly, we ended up in stitches on the floor together.

Then my phone rang again.

"You're coming home, storm's over, we're flying you back right now," Mutt said and then hung up.

"Come on," I said to y/n and handed her back her suitcase, before we made our way down to the foyer.

"What's going on, Mina?" She asked as we sat in the back of the black Range Rover outside.

"We're going home, flights are up again," I said plainly, dialling Mutt for tickets.

"Hello," I answered.

"They've been sent to your personal emails,"

"Boarding passes and tickets?"

"Everything you need, you depart in three hours,"

"Class?"

"Business, I couldn't get you a 1st in time,"

"That's OK,"

"I need to go,"

"OK,"

"Call me if you need anything,"

"I will,"

"Bye,"

"Bye,".

"So we're going home?" Y/n smiled.

"Yes sweetie, we're going home,"

After an hour of driving and another our of airport security, y/n and I waited for our plane and again, I could see she was scared.

I knew it was pointless to say anything to her, so I just pulled her close and kissed her gently.

Y/n didn't say anything as we boarded and neither did I, too scared of scaring her more.

Once we sat down, I took her hand in mine and smiled at her.

"You already know what I'm going to say," I smirked as she looked at our hands together.

"Just promise you won't let go," she whispered.

"I promise I will never let go," I replied and she knew that I didn't just mean holding her hand.

And I didn't. The holiday was a year ago and, to this day I still haven't let go of my relationship with y/n. I moved into her house last month with her and her dogs and we live as a tiny family and we will continue to live as a tiny family until the day we die.
