Chapter 4

*Carolyn’s POV*

I woke up next to Zach. They only had one spare bunk so we had to share. I groaned as I sat up; having a little bit of a hangover. A glass of water and some pain killers appeared in front of my face. I looked up and saw Andy smiling down at me. I smiled, grateful for the pills and grabbed the items. I stood up feeling a little dizzy. I don’t do well with hangovers. My memory was a little hazy but I still remembered everything. I looked up at Andy again and blushed remembering the kiss. I walked to the lounge and sat down wanting to avoid the awkward atmosphere.

I heard batman playing and looked at the TV. Of course Andy was watching batman. I couldn’t blame him for being a fan-boy over Batman; it’s amazing. I watched batman intently not wanting to miss a second of the episode. I didn’t even notice Andy sit down next to me.

‘Carolyn?’ Andy caught my attention. I was a little nervous about talking to him. I didn’t want to talk about the kiss.

‘Y-yeah?’

‘Um…can we talk about the kiss last night?’ I gulped.

‘No,’ I said sternly stand up and walking away. Not now at least.

*Andy’s POV*

Uuummm…OK? I guess we won’t talk about that kiss. I sighed and continued watching batman. Ashley walked in a while later.

‘Andy?’ he sat down next to me. I ripped my eyes from the TV and looked at him.

‘Sup dude?’

‘What…what was that kiss about last night?’ he asked. So he wants to talk about it but Carolyn doesn’t?

‘I don’t know honestly. I guess we got caught up in the moment?’ I winced at my own choice of words. Why did I put it like that?

‘Caught up in the moment? Really? What about Juliet?’ he asked giving me a look. I sighed getting annoyed.

‘Look, that wasn’t the right choice of words. I don’t know what it was and I still love Juliet OK! Why do you care anyway? You were only going to fuck her and leave her alone; like you always do,’

‘I don’t know dude. She’s…different, I guess…’

*Carolyn’s POV*

I was sitting in a random empty bunk. I’m guessing it was Andy’s since he was the only one awake when I woke up. I feel really bad about just walking away but I couldn’t talk about; I’m not ready. I like Ashley not Andy. That kiss meant nothing, besides Andy still has Juliet. I sighed and checked the time. Whoa, I’ve been in here for an hour. I got up since I was starving. I walked straight to the kitchenette looking for food. Ashley, Jinxx and CC were awake now and were fighting over the TV remote with Andy. I couldn’t help but laugh at their childish ways. That’s when they noticed me.

‘Oh hey Carolyn,’ CC and Jinxx greeted. CC cried out in victory for getting the remote.

‘Morning Coma, Jeremy,’ I smirked at them. Jinxx glared at me for using his real name.

‘Hey sexy,’ Ashley said and winked. I blushed and tried to hide my face with my hair. I continued looking for food but groaned when there was nothing appetising.

‘Guys, we’re stopping at the next McDonalds! I’m hungry!’ I told them. Ashley got up and went to tell the driver. I walked back into the bunks as Jake walked out. I ripped open the curtain to mine and Zach’s bunk. He was still asleep of course.

‘ZACH!’ I screamed in his ear. He fell onto the floor screaming. I laughed at him.

‘Bitch,’ he muttered under his breath as he walked out.

‘I heard that!’ I called after him. We finally stopped at a McDonalds and ran off the bus, not caring that I was still in my pyjamas. I ran inside smelling food instantly.

‘Food!’ the boys dragged themselves behind me. Ashley however ran up to me and picked up, throwing me over his shoulder. I let out a little scream as he carried me to the back. He put me down and I blushed at all the looks we got. We ordered when the rest of the guys caught up with us.

As soon as I collected a bag I ran out and onto the bus, excited for food. We boys were only walking out the doors when fan-girls were heard. The band tried to hurry onto the bus but the fan-girls were faster. They were bombarded with fans and Zach was bumped out of the group. I groaned and knew I would have to help them. I went to the bunks and grabbed a few random shirts. I walked back to the window.

‘Hey girls!’ I called and all heads whipped around towards me. I hung a couple of the shirts out the window and they screamed running over. I threw the shirts in different directions and signalled for the guys to get on.

‘Drive!’ Andy called to the driver and the bus started moving, ‘thanks Carolyn,’ Andy smiled at me.

‘Yeah thanks. Jesus Christ, some of these fans,’ Ashley said but then smirked, ‘but who could blame them? No one can resist the Purdy,’ I rolled my eyes smiling.

‘Typical Ashley,’ CC said as he walked by. I laughed and started eating my breakfast. Finally. I moaned in pleasure form the taste. Ashley chuckled a bit making me blush. We finally finished all the food when Jinxx asked a question.

‘So I saw a guitar case in the storage. Who plays?’ he motioned between Zach and I. I pointed to Zach smirking.

‘She plays bass like a badass though!’ Zach said, putting me in the ‘spotlight’ also.

‘Well we wanna here you play,’ Jake basically demanded. The other nodded in agreement.

‘Fine, but we’ll play at the next venue. We can’t play without the drums,’ we made the deal and hung out all day.
