Chapter 9

*Carolyn's POV*

I awoke to light peering through my curtain, but that's not what woke me up. The shouting in the other room is what woke me up. Letting out a dramatic groan of frustration, I literally rolled out of bed. I forgot I was on the top bunk and hit the floor with a thud. I groaned dramatically again, this time in pain, and the shouting died down but not completely.

Andy appeared through the door clearly trying not to laugh. I glared at him and refused his offer of helping to get me up before laughing tiredly at my own clumsiness. I groaned...again...from the pounding in my head. I fucking hate hangovers. Jinxx walked in with pain killers and water. I gratefully accepted them and went to investigate the rest of the shouting.

Zach, CC, Ashley and Jake were fighting over the TV remote. The fucking TV remote.

'I wanna watch Invader Zim!' Zach yelled.

'Noooo! Game of Thrones!' Jake cried. I rolled my eyes at their childishness. I stuck two fingers in my mouth and let out an ear-piercing whistle.

'Children! Would you god-motherfucken-damn stop it!' I screamed at the boys on the floor. They immediately stopped and stared at me.

'Besides...' I started, 'I wanna watch Family Guy.' I smirked as I grabbed the remote from them and changed the channel. They all started to protest but I glared at them and they shut up. I laughed as I watched Peter dance around in his 'Peewee's Funhouse'.

'I'm hungryyyy!' Ashley groaned. I looked at him.

'Would you shut the fuck up Purdy? I'm watching something!' I turned my attention back to the show before speaking again. 'But you're right. I'm fucken hungry too. Food stop!' the brides and Zach cheered as we pulled into Del Taco. CC, Jake, Zach and I were nominated to get the food.

We sat down as we waited for our mountain of eatable delights.

'So...' CC started in a gay voice, 'what's going on between you Andy and Ash?' I blushed and looked out the window trying to hide it.

'I-I don't know what you're talking about...' I said hoping I could pull of the whole playing-dumb thing.

'Don't lie, you know there's something there,' Jake decided to join the conversation. Zach nodded in agreement with a smirk.

'Ugh! I don't even fucking know! I like Andy but, Ash...I don't know what's up with him. I think he just wants to get me into bed,' I frowned slightly.

'Yeah, Ashley has the reputation of being a bit of a man-whore but he's never gone to this extent to get into a girl's pants. And it's obvious that Andy likes you back-look what happened last night,' Jake said matter-of-factly. That's when the memory of the night before came into mind.

'Holy shit! I totally forgot about last night! Oh my fucking God, I made Juliet and Andy break up!'

'Hey, chill out. Andy was gonna break up with her anyway. He really likes you 'Lyn...' CC explained.

'Really?' I couldn't believe this.

'Carrie, how have you not noticed?!' Zach piped up. I shrugged.

'I never really pay attention to guys-I never really had to...' our food was ready so I grabbed it all and walked off before this conversation would go any further.

The moment I stepped onto the bus I was attacked by Ashley who took the food away from me. Everyone sat around on the couches and at their tacos. Ash, of course, was basically forcing it down his throat. I laughed quietly at him and he stopped and looked at me for a moment. He put down his half eaten meal and walked into the bathroom. All the guys stopped as well and watched the bathroom door.

'Uhm...what was that about?' I asked completely confused.

'I...have no idea...' Andy said and turned to Jinxx. Jinxx rolled his eyes before standing up.

'I'll go talk to him,' he muttered and went in the direction of Ash. Jinxx seemed to be the go-to-guy in the group.
