Y/n pov

We were sat in the car as my wife was driving, the way her hair flowed as air rushed through the open window brought back some memories of a better time, a happier time.

'when I secure the Grail we can be like that again' I thought as I stared at Artoria's flowing wheat locks.

"How does it feel to drive the car Saber?" Irisviel asked as I lay across the back seats.

"Yes I think this is a splendid vehicle," Artoria said as I grumbled slightly.

"Yeah a vehicle I'll never want to be in again after last time," I said as my face went pale, Artoria sweatdropped as Irisviel glanced at me clueless.

"Was my driving that bad?" She asked with a sad look on her face.

"It wasn't bad, just... Reckless" I said as she nodded slightly.

"Irisviel are you sure it is alright for me to drive, you seemed to enjoy the act of driving the other night?" Artoria questioned, Irisviel flinched a little which I noticed.

"No this is fine if you're happy driving the car then I'm happy too" Irisviel deflected as I felt something was hidden behind her reaction.
We the. Talked about how servants learn from the Grail implanting knowledge.

"Are you Certain moving into the heart of the city is a wise idea?" I asked Irisviel who had her normal small smile.

"Don't you worry about that, secrecy is paramount the Grail war, our new base of operations may be even more advantageous than the castle we've been using," Irisviel explained as I nodded satisfied with her answer.

After a short drive we arrived at our destination it was an old Japanese mansion. Irisviel seemed excited and wanted to explore but I noticed that she hadn't done anything strenuous today making my uneasy feeling grow.
Maiya gave Artoria the key, she then explained about a mages workshop behind the building.
We then entered the mages workshop.

"Irisviel, it seems as if all day today you have been avoiding touching anything, am I imagining this?" Artoria asked the question I was thinking, Irisviel looked nervous before she went on to explain that when she is I'll she can turn off one of her senses so she can control her magic.

*Dream start*

Irisviel pov

'Where am I?' I thought as I looked around seeing a fortress in ruins, griffon banners littered the battlefield I saw twisted corpses that looked like they had been ripped from the screen of a horror movie.

I then heard an ear-piercing screech I turned and saw a large rotting dragon that was flying towards a man in armour which carried the same griffon symbol as the banners.

"In peace, Vigilance!" The man ran towards a great sword which was stabbed into the ground between him and the dragon.

"In war, Victory!" He swiped the sword from the ground before brandishing it in both of his hands he then positioned the tip of the blade towards the abomination.

"In death, Sacrifice!" He crouched slightly before homing the tip of the blade through the dragon's chest blood spurted out of the wound, the dragon roared in agony as it let out purple fire from its mouth.

Then I was blinded by a flash of white.

*Dream end*

My eyes shot open I looked around it was still dark, seeing one of the lights on I got out from under my covers.
The sound of a deep voice filled the empty halls of our new base, it was sung in a language I couldn't recognize.
